Located in the heart of uber-chic Saint-Germain des Prés, this triplex apartment near the École des Beaux-Arts and the river offers a unique taste of one of Paris’s most historic neighborhoods with panoramic views over the city rooftops from a private terrace.

The apartment is furnished in a comfortable Art-Deco style and consists of a living/dining room, separate kitchen and WC on the entrance level.

The apartment is fully air-conditioned throughout the three levels, which is extremely rare in Paris.

There are 2 bedrooms, one on the lower floor with king bed and ensuite bathroom including a claw-foot tub (with shower over) and WC, and a dressing/laundry room with washer/dryer. The second top-floor queen bedroom, which may once have been used as an artist’s studio, offers an en suite bathroom with shower and WC. This bedroom gives on to a private terrace with stunning views over the rooftops of Paris to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the towers of Notre-Dame and the Sacré-Cœur. The perfect spot to enjoy an evening drink and watch the sun set over the great monuments of the City of Light.

The three levels of the apartment are linked by an interior antique wooden staircase. Access may be difficult for guests with reduced mobility so please consider this prior to booking.

The neighborhood is steeped in history. Just steps away lies the famous La Palette café which, at the turn of the last century, offered talented young artists from the nearby Ecole des Beaux-Arts free meals in exchange for paintings. Among these artists were Cézanne, Braque and Picasso. One of the restaurant’s two dining rooms is classed as an historic monument and still contains celebrated works by artists who dined there more than a century ago. This apartment was amazing! The views of Paris’s landmarks are included in the views. The Eiffel Tower is on display day and by glorious night. The downstairs bedroom is perfect if you need a desk to work at and the bed is super comfortable.The upstairs bedroom includes a large balcony with all of the Paris views but that bed is very hard. The entrance room has a small but very functional kitchen and the dining area and sitting area are very comfortable! Perfect location in St. Germain! The hostess, Elizabeth, is incredible. If I owned a VRBO in Paris, I would want her to be my manager!!

Amazing property

This property is absolutely amazing. It’s in a great neighborhood and gives you the true Parisian experience with its winding staircases, decor, and the most amazing view of the Eiffel Tower from the upstairs bedroom that is encased in glass. It was very clean, we were met upon arrival to show us the property and give us a tour of how to work everything, the beds were comfortable, and everything worked properly. You won’t go wrong choosing this location for your Paris experience.

Amazing location and property

The property was beautiful and safe. The location was amazing- you can see almost everything from the rooftop terrace including the July 14th fireworks! It was a life saver to have air conditioning with the global heat wave that was happening this summer. You will not be disappointed with this property.

Wonderful stay in an amazing location

Truly loved the location of this property. The view from the upstairs bedroom and porch were remarkable. The kitchen is tiny but incredibly functional. The spiral staircases would be very difficult or impossible if the occupants had any mobility limitations. The furniture and upstairs mattress could be more comfortable. But access to that area is limited/difficult. Planning on going and staying here again. Property managers awesome!

Excellent location and views

This place is a true gem in the best Paris location to see many of the sites. Notre Dame, St. Chappelle, the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay, Cluny Museum, all within walking distance. From the upstairs bedroom you can lie in bed and see the Eiffel Tower. There are narrow spiral staircases to get to each bedroom, but as long as you are not handicapped, or have knee issues, it is no problem. Love, love, love this place.

40th anniversary trip

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The location was very convenient to everything we wanted to do, easily walkable to several locations and activities. The rooftop sitting area has incredible views across the city, including the Eiffel Tower. The apartment is classic French style and comfortable. The only challenge are the 2 tight spiral staircases leading up and down to the bedrooms. Couldn’t get our large suitcases up and down, but we managed. Overall a very nice property and experience.

We loved the apartment and Ms Elizabeth. Luggage was lost and she retrieved it and a lost earring in the drain. The owner was very helpful also! The location was pretty central for all our travels within and around the city. The roof top was amazing and the apartment was spacious. Loved the downstairs bathroom with the huge tub. The spiral staircases up & down inside the apartment are very small! Thankful for the gorgeous windows in every room that open, it was in the 90’s. It was comfortable with open windows as the AC was pretty much non expectant. We would all stay there again!

Great Place!

From the top bedroom you can see the Eiffel Tower and Ferris wheel lit up at night. Very beautiful. Bed linens very nice. Space is large. Perfect for 4 people. Large bathrooms. Beautifully decorated. Great location close to everything. Aries checked us in and showed us how to work everything. Careful to make sure you are nimble enough to negotiate the spiral staircases especially with luggage.

Lovely apartment

We love using VRBOs when we stay in Paris. This one was really nice. The only thing amiss was the downstairs shower was hard to adjust and the shower head sprayed all over. So we all used the upstairs shower. No biggie. Other than that, really lovely. Perfect location.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

Loved staying here. Many thanks to the hosts for clear and quick communication during the rental process and on our arrival. We were greeted right on time for our arrival and shown all the workings of the apartment. The apartment is spacious - exactly as pictured. Kitchen is small but perfectly functional. We didn't use it much other than for coffee and drinks. Loved the Nespresso machine. We kept our large suitcases in the main living room rather than worrying about getting them up and down the spiral staircase; this worked out fine. The views from the rooftop deck are magical. We spent every evening up there. The location is amazing, with cafes, bistros, bakeries, everything you need is close by. We had a terrific stay and are already talking about when we can come back again.

Property was as expected based on photos and description. Charming with lovely views and walking distance to many museums and gardens. Temps were in the high 80s during our visit but careful use of the window shades and the 3 a/c units kept us comfortable (not ice cold like in the US, but definitely cool by European standards). Building was quiet and felt very safe and secure. Kitchen very small but well stocked. Oven, cooktop, coffeemaker, dishwasher, washing machine all worked well. This is an incredible location with a tiny grocery directly across the street and numerous cafes, shops, pharmacies, etc. within walking distance. Would happily stay here again and again.

Amazing views!

A cute seemingly spacious Parisian apartment in a great location with amazing views of the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coer! I don’t regret staying here but probably wouldn’t stay again, we knew the spiral, wooden, creaky staircases were part of the experience but having to navigate both to go into different bedrooms was inconvenient. It really splits the apartment into separate areas. The top floor bedroom has magnificent views that we cherished every night. Eventually made my teens sleep up there because the bed was so uncomfortable lol! Also there were no utensils in the kitchen, should have contacted host but were simply too exhausted every evening. Location is phenomenal and we did have a great trip.

Wonderful location in the middle of Paris!

My husband and I and another couple stayed here for 9 nights to see the Christmas lights and Markets in Paris. This triplex served all our purposes as it has 2 full en-suite bathrooms and each of the bedrooms were private . The living/dining room was very comfortable and the whole place was decorated in Art Deco furnishings. The small kitchen was nicely appointed with 2 different coffee makers as well as other accoutrements. We really enjoyed our time here and got used to the wooden circular staircases. The piece de resistance was the terrasse on the roof where we enjoyed wine while watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle every night on the hour and you can also see Sacre Coeur, and the roofs of Beaux Arts and St Sulpice and St Germaine churches. Can’t wait to come back!!

Rooftop is a stunner!!

My friend and I spent 4 lovely days at this apartment-It was her first time in Paris and the rooftop terrace is amazing!! We had coffee up there and post dinner cocktails every day. Having 2 separate bathrooms (and a half bath!) is so hard to find—this was perfect. The bed linens and towels were all high quality and plentiful. The kitchen had a giant fridge for Europe and although we didn’t cook-this place would be great for a dinner party! Not going to lie-the spiral stairs up and down are tough-we just unpacked our suitcases on the main level and carried our clothes up/down. Easy enough. The neighborhood is also amazing! Steps from a little grocery and wine store. Wonderful cafes. Central to everything. Will definitely book this place again—if I am lucky enough!

Unique property in the Latin Quarter

WOW. What a great location. A few minutes to many great attractions and just 10 minutes to the Metro/RER for any others. The property is a classic French small apartment with tons of character. The spiral stair cases can be tricky to navigate, but they add to the experience. And, how about that terrace view! We spent every night on the terrace watching the lights come on the Eiffel Tower (with some beverages, of course). Where else in Paris can you sleep with a view of the Eiffel Tower from the bed?!?! There are TONS of cafes, bakeries and more nearby and a small grocery store where we stocked up on beer, wine, bread, cheese, etc. It is not fully of modern conveniences and space, but it's exactly what we wanted when visiting Paris. There was laundry and three small air conditioners that helped cool the apartment down when we got back each day. Just stay here and enjoy the ambiance of the left bank and the Latin quarter!

Great apartment in central location

I stayed here with three friends for four nights. The apartment is roomy and well-appointed and is located in a great neighborhood within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants as well as the Seine, Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle. A few things to know about the property... while it does have AC, it does not sufficiently cool during the day especially in the upstairs bedroom. We didn't care as we were out all day and at night we left the windows open which was wonderful, even though it was mid 80s during the day, it cooled off at night. The rooftop was magnificent. We spent morning coffee and evenings with wine up there and even watched the Eiffel Tower sparkling at 11pm one night. Amazing! The property has an elevator (three people max) but you still need to climb another flight of stairs to get to the apartment and the circular stairs in the apartment to the two bedroom are very narrow and challenging if you have a larger suitcase (we didn't so again, no problem for us). I highly recommend this property!
