This stunning log cabin located on Big Sand Lake sleeps up to 12 guests. Enjoy a cozy fire in the beautifully finished pergola, a refreshing evening in the hot tub,and the breathtaking sunsets over crystal clear Big Sand Lake. This cabin is perfect for a Northwoods getaway where you can enjoy a day on the lake (floating dock provided) or visit the Mississippi Headwaters at Itasca State Park (25miles away). Over 400ft of lakeshore on property and direct access to snowmobile trails in the winter.
During your stay you will have access to the following:
- log cabin
- pergola to hangout around a cozy fire in the fireplace (located right outside the hot tub)
- wood shed (small shed located right by the pergola)
- pole barn garage - available upon request
- 400+ feet of lakefront with floating dock
The only thing that’s not available on the property is the red barn.
We are here for you throughout your stay and will have someone available to go out to the property if needed.

Really enjoyed this place. Beautiful home, lots of spacious bedrooms, baths and the kitchen was amazing. The grounds were beautiful with nice green areas for outdoor activities.

Very large, 5 BR home. Huge kitchen counter and kitchen great for prepping meals for large groups. Large backyard and enclosed gazebo. Roadway runs between home and hill that descends to lake shore dock which would be problematic for kids or elderly. Beautiful clear water lake and shallow dock area. No beach area.

Spacious, clean, comfortable home with access to a sandy bottom lake. Good fishing, tubing and water skiing was enjoyed by all of us! Super nice to relax in the hot tub after a day of playing on the water.
