We were told by the man that checked us in that there was not a veterans discount because of construction! only to hear the clerk ( lady ) the next morning giving a veterans discount to a man there ! Obviously we’re lied to, not to mention that we were not told there was construction and had to come in side door and we got locked out because card wouldn’t work on side door .

Good afternoon, I do apologize about the confusion. When it comes to third party reservations we cannot change the rate or add discount to them. When you book through these websites the rate that you book them is the only rate that is used. We do have military discounts, AAA, and ARP discounts that we can apply to regular reservations or it is something that you would have to have applied prior to your reservation through the third party. We also do not have construction going on at our property, we are currently painting outside prior to our remodel and when that begins we will of course be marking that milestone on all of the websites. Bed was very comfortable, however we had to taketurns sitting in the one chair, the desk chair was broken.

Got in the room. 5 minutes later, dogs outside from the neighbor's homes just a yappin!! You could hear the people above walking around and the building just creeked loudly as they walked about!! Changed rooms. Shower would not turn on at first. The shower dripped loudly all night. The breakfast was poor and cold! This old worn out hotel should not bring more than $70. a night!!!

The only issue i had was my grand daughter found a folded up piece of foil with drugs cooked up inside. I turned it in to the desk. She gave me 10 dollars off my room. I think that was worth more than 10 dollars. We’re talking about an 7 year old finding drugs.

Obviously for us that's not something that is normally happens here and it was unfortunate that someone hid something like that in one of our bathrooms. In the future if you would allow us to make that up to you, you can show this message to our front desk and we will apply a 25% discount to your stay for the past inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Exterior and lobby were neat and tidy. Room- beds were comfortable but bathroom had broken grout and cracked tiles that lifted. The area beneath was spongy. Shower head was dirty and a lot of visible mold and mildew noted in the shower. Amenities- The small pool area was over crowded with many unsupervised children running and screaming as if injured. The door to the back of the pool are were opened to the outside and people appeared to be coming in from there. The hot tub water was dark gray and you could not see the bottom, did not appear to be filtering or working. There were 22 children and teens sitting in this very small hot tub.

It does seem that this weekend there was a group of children that decided to make our other guests pool experiences negative, and we will work to do a better job of dealing with those kinds of rare events.
