The property was clean and had all the amenities we could ask for. We enjoyed one evening on the back patio and appreciated the added privacy with the fencing and shade trees.
This home was wonderful, we couldnât have had it nicer. It was so homey and cosy; never want to stay in a typical hotel, again. Would highly recommend this home and the very nice, professional manager of the property; thank you Marick!
The house was clean and comfortable. Everyone in my part reporting sleeping comfortably. The check in process was confusing as there is not a lock box as stated in the check in instructions. It is a keypad on the door. We were also asked to throw the trash away in the "blue trash bin" located outside but it was missing as well. Overall, I would stay again.
Very nice stay for one night... everything was great from availability of hot water to entry into house. Upstairs floor a little creaky, but not that bad (It let you know if the kids got out of bed for some reason, Ha!)Thank y'all!
Upon arrival, we noticed a truck out front and a light on inside. I was hoping it was just a lamp left on. We also noticed a TV on in the garage, but upon further reading, I believe that was where the host was staying. I had not received anything from the host regarding check-in information, just emails from VRBO about my upcoming stay. I messaged Marick to see what the code was. After not getting a response, I tried to call the phone number listed and did not get an answer. I also rang the Ring doorbell with no response. I finally got a message back with the code and check-in information, but the code was not working. I went back to our messages to see if there was a trick and that's when I saw "CANCELLED" at the top. The host had already gone in and canceled my reservation and issued a refund before ever trying to communicate with me. He told me he had double-booked for the night and had issued a refund. He did not offer any more help or suggestions and left a pregnant lady and 2 of her friends without a place to stay at 10 o'clock at night. It's not like there are a lot of options in Pawhuska, so it was rather stressful trying to find a place the night of. I have tried to contact Marick again to see if he can make this right, but he has ignored me again. Needless to say, I would not recommend staying here unless you have a backup plan or want to sleep in your car đ
We came to Pawhuska to visit the Mercantile and the Lodge of the Pioneer Woman. I booked this property to be close to downtown and easy access what Pawhuska offered. My only real complaint was communication with the property manager was difficult and had to contact VRBO in order to make contact and gain access to the property. She did help me after I left my backpack behind and had it shipped home to me.
