This gorgeous 2 bed ground floor apartment opens directly onto the beautiful Paynes Bay Beach and can be rented either as one bedroom or two. The only ground floor apartment in these condos to have stunning sea views from both living area & luxurious master bedroom, it is beautifully furnished with all home comforts including a fully equipped Italian kitchen, 2 luxury en suites & separate powder room, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, fast wireless internet, cable TV and 24 hour security. We offer maid service three days per week, free of charge. There are many superb restaurants either within walking distance or just a short taxi ride away, or of course, simply enjoy a meal in the apartment's private garden, listening to the sea and tree frogs! Cool off in your own private spa pool. Water sports are readily available from the beach. Swim out to the turtles or simply enjoy a stunning walk to Sandy Lane, the next bay north.


Security: There is a 24 hour security guard on site. The property has a lockable gate to the beach, and electrically operated gates on the road side. The security guards are very helpful, and are responsible for putting out beach chairs and parasols belonging to the apartments.

Apartment Management: Our managing agents are very reputable and long established on the island. They are always contactable if there should be any queries or problems. A health and safety book with all relevant telephone numbers can be found in the apartment for your perusal.


The Beach: Although we have our own private sun beds on the beach, please note that no beaches in Barbados are private. Paynes Bay is a lively & popular beach with all water sports available to hire. Simply swim out to snorkel with the turtles, or if you prefer, take a very short boat trip.

Amazing location and property

Loved the condo, the pool, how it was beachfront. Perfect vacation for our family. We split our vacation in two between an all inclusive at the beginning and this home at the end, and this was easily the best part of our trip.

Great condo in an incredible location

This was not our first visit to Barbados but our first time in the Mahogany Tree and staying on the west coast. The condo is just as advertised. Beautifully appointed, spacious and extremely clean. The unit is on the ground floor and we found that very convenient to walking back and forth to the beach. The patio also provided privacy due to a hedgerow and the location of the unit in the building. We pretty much lived on the patio when we weren’t on the beach. Coral Cove Villas is directly on Paynes Bay Beach which is a stunning stretch of beach. There is a convenient beach bar within a very short walk, and any Watersports you may want is being offered on the beach. The location to shops and restaurants is also a big plus. The staff at the building are so professional and friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate any of your needs. Jasmine the housekeeper is such a nice person. She takes great care of the unit and is a very good cook. She was also very responsive to any requests we had. I can’t say enough good things about the Mahogany Tree and Coral Cove Villas. I would highly recommend a visit.

The Mahogany Tree is a beautiful property so perfectly located on a fabulous beach.

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday staying at the Mahogany Tree. It is beautifully furnished with a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. The bathrooms are immaculate and very modern and the bedrooms are very comfortable and so well furnished. It is really quite luxurious. The location is perfect. Literally on the amazing Paynes Bay Beach. We were there with our two teenage daughters and this location suited us all. There is privacy and peace in the garden and if you want a little activity, the catamarans stop just on the water nearby most days for a while. If you fancy jet skiing etc. it's all there, but if you want to relax, you are left alone to chill on the beach. We did not feel hassled at all. The concierge Romeo and his team were superb, they are there 24 hours a day and will help you with any issues at all. We felt extremely relaxed knowing they were on hand at any time. Nothing is too much trouble for them at all. Jasmine the housekeeper is also very helpful and is a fabulous cook. She cooked West Indian curry for us and also catered for my daughter who is vegetarian making her gorgeous food. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending The Mahogany Tree. You would be guaranteed a perfect holiday in a perfect spot - heaven!!!

Stunning location BUT oversold as 5 px not 4, Construction noise next door. Wasn't up to standard

It is with regret that I write this review as I had high hopes for our stay at this property. What I am able to say is that the location is truly stunning however you actually pay not just for location but for suitable and relaxing accommodation and this is where this property falls short of the mark. At the time the property was listed as accommodating 5 persons. We were a party of 5 so should have been great right? the property is quite obviously configured for just 4 persons with one reasonable size double bedroom and one small double bedroom. The 5th person is not accommodated in a permanent or 'proper' bed, it is a hired in camp style bed plonked in one of the bedrooms. If the accommodation was advertised for 4 persons and not 5 then fair enough but it wasn't and therefore was an uncomfortable stay for the 5th person. Our reason for staying was for a relaxing wind down in a great location however we were shocked to find a very noisy construction site just a couple of feet away where a large hotel/building was being worked on, all day noisy power tools and drills were being used so we couldn't have a nice al fresco breakfast or relax by the plunge pool, we ended up spending time at the nearby premium hotel! The accommodation itself is tired and if you want to find things is really confusing with a lot of kitchen items not working properly. The fridge had lots of other peoples items in so it didn't feel like you coming in to a fresh let, in fact it was rather chaotic, especially in the kitchen. At this price point everything should have been immaculate and anyone who wished to stay should have been advised of the construction noise, it's unacceptable to trade purely on the great location without giving the right attention to the accommodation itself and in clearly describing it. My review could have been a lot worse but I have chosen to concentrate on just a few areas, there were more.The local company the owners use to manage the let did try to be helpful in trying to sort matters out but this was on the penultimate day of our stay so effectively it was ruined and in any event the owners are ultimately responsible and I think a little more attention to detail would improve this property to the standards guests would rightly expect. I note that since our stay the owner has adjusted the maximum occupancy, eventually, shame it took us to have such a bad experience for this to happen.
