Great Stay!!

We had an amazing time and couldnt have asked for better accomodations. Great location, quite neighhorhood, and close to everythjng Payson has to offer. As a bonus, the backyard was very enjoyable and our digs absolutely loved it. The fact that everything in the hone was useable was a huge plus too. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be returning if were ever in the area again.

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 week visit - looking for a getaway from a very hot Tucson! The home is in a lovely residential section, close to shopping, the public library, beautiful Green Valley Lake with hiking trails and tours of an extremely well done Rim County Museum and Zane Grey cabin, and short drive to Tonto Natural Bridge State Park. The home is clean and well supplied for cooking your own meals. The owners are excellent at communicating prior to arriving, during the stay with information about local events, and upon leaving.

Wonderful House

My husband and son in law work the rodeo every year so my daughter, grandson and myself came up too. I instantly loved the porch!! I spent most of my time with my grandson there. The house was very cozy, clean and had everything that we needed. Jon was quick to respond when we had questions. We appreciated the welcoming basket and the fudge! The beds were comfortable and all appliances/electronics that we used worked perfectly. I highly recommend this house and would stay there again.

This place is spectacular!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Very beautiful house and yard. They have so much to offer for adults and kids. Fully stocked with more than you could ever need. We enjoyed just looking around at all the books and Knick knacks. The hosts were so generous and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Jon and Sharon.

Great Place for Work and Relaxing

My husband and I were in town visiting my mom who lives nearby. We needed a place where we could do some work and relax when we weren't visiting with family. This place fit the bill and more! What an amazing stay! The owners literally thought of everything. The house is comfortable, sparkling clean, and so safe. The beds are so comfortable! Entertainment options are many in this fantastic get away. It really is a gem!

Great family and pet getaway!

My family and I were looking for a pet friendly place with personality and privacy in a peaceful setting. We found this place and just fell in love the moment we walked in! The hosts left us a goodie basket on the counter and treats in the fridge as well. The home was immaculate, and the welcome book even had a scavenger hunt in it that our kids immediately took on while the adults settled in. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of space for us and the doggies to spread out, along with a ton of games to play together which we loved! We painted rocks and left them in the backyard with some of the others that have been done by other previous guests as well. We brought our doggies along (we had one service dog amongst the bunch) and they loved the backyard where they were able to run and play in the cool weather. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had very little that we needed to purchase while we were there as far as condiments, spices, etc. It is about 5 minutes away from grocery stores, and there's a phenomenal little fudge store nearby too. We were actually bummed to have to head home, but are looking forward to staying again in the future! If I had to make any suggestions to the hosts, it's to possibly see if you can increase the water pressure in the master bath shower. We used it once but it was really low (I'm 5'7 and it was almost touching my head) and I struggled to wash my hair very well.

Special Christmas celebration

He had three Christmas trees and stockings hung by the fireplace with goodies. My family lives in Payson and strawberry and we live in Tucson. they would come over to Jon's place that we rented. It was a wonderful loving time.

Hidden Trails Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay and the Hidden Trails Retreat in Payson. It was a lovely home, very clean, well stocked, nicely decorated in a quiet neighborhood near town and the hiking trails that we love. The hosts were great, very informative, pleasant to deal with, and thoughtful making us feel welcome. We definitely recommend this vacation home and hope to stay there again in the future.

Payson adventure

House is centrally located for exploring Payson, Pine and Strawberry. House is very comfortable, was decorated for Halloween, giving you a feeling that you’re staying at a family member homestead not a VRBO plus is stocked to the Hilt with supplies for cooking, making sundaes and goodies baskets for humans & doggies. The backyard is beautifully decorated, great place to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Hosts are exceptional and should be cloned!! They are wonderful individuals.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is clean and updated. The backyard is special, especially at night with all the lights on. There are many amenities at this property with all the comforts of home. The owner was very helpful and answered our questions and calls within minutes. Peaceful Dog Friendly Place

We wanted a nice little getaway from the heat of Sun City, AZ & we were not disappointed. This was our first VRBO & we got spoiled. They had a little welcome basket & some waters & fudge in the fridge when we arrived. They had all the condiments & spices you could ever ask for & even supplied plenty of coffee as well. We loved sitting out on the front porch & loved the gate to enclose our dog as well. It was in such a peaceful location. We really enjoyed our time there. The Hosts just thought of everything.

Perfect Stay at Hidden Trails

We enjoyed a relaxing week at Hidden Trails. We loved taking morning walks in the community. And be sure to take a stroll around Green Valley Lake a few miles away. Have never stayed in a vacation rental so fully equipped. Every time we thought we had noted something we needed, we just looked a little further and sure enough, they already had provided it. The hosts were quick to respond to any question and we loved the extra touches they provided, especially the ice cream sauces and the welcome basket! Beautiful home away from home.

This home is perfect. The moment we walked in we felt at home. The furnishings and decor are beautiful. It’s a fun house with lots of games, books and goodies. We didn’t lack for anything, as the home was well stocked. And also well stocked for our dogs. We were a little sad to have to leave. Communication with the host was easy and they responded quickly. Escape the heat!

If you want to escape the summer heat, this is a great rental for families with children or dogs. Lots of games for kids, including paint for rock art! The welcome basket, bottled water, and fudge were unexpected but greatly appreciated. The rental is well supplied, including dog necessities and children's dishes. The communications from the hosts were clear and complete, including notifying us the morning of our departure of a road closure that impacted our return drive.
