"I was in Columbus Georgia for an event at Columbus State University and I wanted a hotel close by. I was pleasantly surprised by how well equipped my room was I've never stayed at a Townplace before. I had a king bed, beautiful big TV, a full kitchen and a large coffee pot with coffee. Compared to the prices of hotels in the area and especially downtown I was a little iffy about the place but it was wonderful I would stay there again in fact some of the people at the conference were complaining about the cost of a few of the hotels they were staying at at the riverfront and I said should have gone to the Marriott"

"I checked in and my room had roaches, front desk Carlos was very nice and had accommodated me with another room but unfortunately that room had roaches and bed bugs, hallway smelled like cigarettes and property was un sanitary. Will not book this property again. Glad I was able to get a refund."

"Overall, this was a decent stay. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was nice and quiet at night. I also appreciated that there were a lot of breakfast options available in the morning. A few things were just okay: the surrounding area wasn’t the best, the shower water only got warm instead of truly hot, the room temperature didn’t seem to match what the thermostat was set to, and cleanliness was acceptable, but the bathroom could have been cleaner."
