The lounge in the main living area was very uncomfortable. It was also a very noise residence with the other tenants of the units making a lot of noise at all hours . House was lovely and everything went smoothly.
1.The lockbox was very very difficult to.open especially at night time where visibility was next to zero.
I spent nearly an hour to no avail.
The instructions were illegible.
The owner had his phone switched off so I was unable to get any assistance.
Had a cab dropped me from the airport I would have been utterly stranded but a friend loaned me his car.
I had no option but to go to a hotel for the night. I spent over an hour trying to find a room .
In the end I found a room in a hotel in West Perth...costing $200
Even following morning the owner was still not returning calls or messages.
A friend came with me with tools and just prior to lunchtime we were able to open the lockbox.
Maybe we were unlucky or I am technically incompetent but the whole exercise soured the trip.
The owner switching his phone off and offering no alternative contacts for first night/day clients , quite frankly is an utter disgrace.
Maybe he will claim it never happened before and its all my fault.
2. The stove top and oven I was unable to operate, thus I was left with a microwave or takeaways. The airfryer was from the 'ark'.
I am particular with my food and like to cook and prepare my own. Assuming the stove and oven worked I spent/wasted $50 on larder items.
3. I was rarely able to utilise my allotted parking space and was continually receiving rude messages/complaints for parking in other spaces. There is no system in place and thus I was a stooge ...again.
4. Never again
