Staff were very helpful, pool area is nice but could do with a couple of lounge chairs. Amazing shower, clean rooms. Staff organised us an early check-in. Easy to walk to Kings Park and the river, lovely park across the street. Bar sells canned drinks only, no cocktails.

One of the most hospitable hotels I've stayed in. If there was an issue they were quick to correct and welcoming throughout my extended stay for business. Highly recommend.

A Touch of Luxury
Styed at Aurea with my daughter to see a show in Perth. They were clearly finishing off a refurb with a few tradesmen about and the dining area for breakfast was out of service. (Only a very minor inconvenience.) The hotel was sparkling clean and fresh. Our room had robes, slippers, quality toiletries etc. The towels were large, super fluffy and just divine! Beds were very comfortable. The only thing I would note is that the rooms have nowhere to sit at all except on the bed which was not good for my back. There is a small balcony but no seating here either. This would not be suitable if you were travelling for work - nowhere to set up your laptop at all. All in all a very nice stay and I would come again.

Heatwave escape
We booked a getaway because I had a gift card for Hotels.com, plus award nights in order to escape during a heatwave. The staff are amazing - every single one of them! The lobby and front entrance are beautiful, the rooms are don’t have a lot of space for luggage storage, but the rainfall shower makes up for that. You also have a mini bar fridge, and tea/coffee making area. The air conditioner works brilliantly, as do the blackout curtains, and the are several different lighting setting. They have Smart TVs with access to all streaming providers- you just use your own account to login there. We loved everything about this, including its close proximity to the city, that we extended for an extra 2 nights. Will definitely book here again.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, and nice easy check in. Clean and comfortable room, it had everything we needed and the use of space was impressive. Free parking was a huge bonus too, and it was easy to find. Definitely recommend for a city getaway.
