We enjoyed our stay at the Civic Hotel over the weekend.(garlic prawn pizza OMG so good)The staff were helpful with any requests we had . I did however not like the fact that the shower hadnt been cleaned properly as i found long black hairs in the drain hole and a build up of dust along this that clearly havent been cleaned in a long time . The air conditioning unit on the balcony dripped and left a big pool of water .

Good location for our use. The room was very dated and carpet dirty, bed comfortable and clean. The noise from the Hotel was loud and didn't cease until 1am so very little sleep was had.

A good stop to recharge after a long flight

A large clean comfy room in an unremarkable area which served its purpose for a one night stay after a long flight in from uk. The balcony door wouldn’t close and after reporting it a staff member, I think he was called Tom, came up and fitted a brand new bolt. There is a lively pub under the rooms but you can’t hear the noise and there is a supermarket behind the hotel called Cole’s and Domino’s pizza across the way.

This is an old pub and popular local watering hole. Comfortable beds. No breakfast facilities but excellent cafe across the road. Do not expect 4 star arrangements, but good value.

I have the arpartment so it was great to be able to make meals if I wanted and lots of shops near by if I wanted to eat out. Could hear people and traffic as woul dbe expected with a room above a pub but I could not hear the music which was great.

Price vs what you get for me was way above expectations. The staff who organised my check over the phone were super friendly and helpful. Didn’t meet Luna but she was a star. It’s old style accomodation but old style that is also very cool and clean and I just thought it was excellent value.
