La Torre, private holiday home in a watchtower with pool

Unique holiday villa in Umbria for 6 people in two houses. The main house is an old watch tower dating back to 1400, and it overlooks the whole valley from its dominant position. La Torre is situated close to Pierantonio, part of the Perugia district. This holiday home, being an old watchtower, obviously offers the best views over the surrounding green Umbrian valleys and hills. You can also see the famous Antognolla Castle from here, with an excellent golf course.

One house is an antique watchtower from 1400, beautifully restored in a minimal atmosphere, tastefully combining antique with modern. The other house is below the old tower, once a shed, it was restored into a light one-room house with a kitchen and bathroom. The two houses together form a villa for 6.

This holiday villa offers excellent views, total privacy, healthy fresh air, a private pool, and a tasteful interior design that is unique in Umbria. The infinity pool is 4 by 10 meters and has a pergola to one side for the necessary shade on hot summer days.

The ground floor of the tower has a kitchen with a fireplace and two entrances. The kitchen has a dishwasher. The stairs lead up to the first floor. This open space has two single beds. The bathroom is also on the first floor.

The second floor has a small study angle, plus a double bed and a built-in closet.

The annexe has a living room with a double bed, and a dining table with chairs. There are doors to the outside terrace. The kitchen has an oven, a 4-pit-cooker, and a fridge. Also, the kitchen has a door to the outside terrace.

The holiday villa La Torre is very luminous inside due to the many windows and smaller holes that have been turned into windows. The minimal style that was chosen to furnish this house also contributes to the pleasant atmosphere in the tower.

To be paid upon arrival:
- Final cleaning: €100.
- Tourist tax: €10.50 per person > 14 years.
- Dog is welcome @ €50.
- Heating is paid based on consumption.

The pool is open from June to September.

Heerlijk verblijf en prachtige locatie! Werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen door Antonio ,die ook dagelijks even langs kwam om de moestuin te verzorgen. Wel afgelegen maar dat biedt dan ook weer veel privacy en rust. Geweldig fijn zwembad met fantastisch uitzicht! Enige minpuntje vonden wij de douche ruimtes welke een kleine upgrade kunnen gebruiken misschien.

Antonio is a very nice and friendly host. He gave us a warm welcome at his vacation area. The days which we spent at this special place gave us a relaxed time in Umbria. The whole garden and place is such a pleasure. The pool is welcome after hiking tours, also the great tomatoes, salad, chilies and further vegetables. The view from the pool over the mountains is stunning and let you feel so small but welcomed. We filled our batteries at this great place and can fully recommend to spend your holidays at Antonio’s house.

Tolles Anwesen in der Idylle

Großes Anwesen, sehr gut gepflegt. Toller Pool mit phantastischem Ausblick. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Die zwei Häuser sind bestens ausgestattet. Wir haben eine tolle Woche verbracht. Restaurants sind mit den Autos in 15min Entfernung erreichbar. Ausflüge von dort sehr gut möglich. Der sehr sympathische Eigentümer Antonio kommt einmal am Tag zur Pflege der Anlage vorbei (30min).
