Nice location

Very good Villa although bell tower very loud chiming on the hour, 3 mins past the hour and half past the hour every hour can take some getting used to! Accommodation lovely and owners friendly and helpful but limited English so some Italian or Google translate beneficial. Good links to other villages, Cities. Pool very good and Villa spacious, very Tuscan and well equipped.

Away from it all

Beautiful spacious house in the mountains behind Lucca. We enjoyed the views, the pool, the calm and cool away from the crowds and the proximity of great day trips eg coast, Florence and wonderful Lucca itself. The only issues were the village clock chiming and a local farmer strimming too much.

Kleines Bergdorf mit wunderbarer Aussicht

Wir waren dort als Familie eine Woche über Ostern. Das Haus sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern. Die Ferienwohnung war unser Ausgangspunkt für verschiedene Touren nach Pisa, Florenz, Lucca, das Meer und eine Bergwanderung. Ein Auto ist unbedingt notwendig, auch um einzukaufen. Da es abends nur 15 Grad warm war, haben wir von den Vermietern Holz gekauft, kleines Anmachholz im Wald gesammelt und den Kamin angefeuert. Julia, die Vermieterin wohnt im Nachbarhaus, war immer ansprechbar. Da wir nur wenig Italienisch können, haben wir uns mit den Google Translator verständigt. Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Supermarkt Esselunga am Ortseingang von Lucca. Zusammengefasst hat die Ferienwohnung eine tolle Lage. Wenn es wärmer ist, kann man vom Pool die Berge ansehen.

Schönes Haus in den Bergen

Wir haben uns in dem alten und ganz im Stile der Region sehr gut sanierten Steinhaus in dem kleinen Bergdorf Gello di Pescaglia sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, geräumig, ruhig, der Pool tiptop mit tollem Ausblick und die Vermieterfamilie hat uns herzlich aber zurückhaltend vor Ort betreut. Das Haus liegt am kleinen Dorfplatz mitten im sehr beschaulichen Dorfgeschehen. Die Menschen dort sind alle sehr nett. Der Morgenkaffee auf der Steintreppe bleibt uns unvergessen. Immer wieder.

Wer viel Ruhe und Natur braucht ist hier richtig 👍!

Tolle Aussicht und die Vermieter, die im Haus davor wohnen sieht man kaum und wenn dann sehr freundlich! Das Haus ist besonders im Wohnzimmer sehr dunkel trotz mehrere Fenster! Die Einrichtung rustikal aber die Betten bequem! Die Küche ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und leider fehlt es an guten Besteck besonders Messer! Was uns überrascht hat war das super W/lan ! Wichtig ist zu vermerken, das die Straße ca 3km nach oben sehr eng und kurvenreich ist, besonders im Dunkeln braucht man gute Fahrkenntnise! Der Pool ist nur für die Gäste und man hat dort Privatsphäre!

Aan rand van klein dorpje, met fantastisch uitzicht. Uit het huis kom je, langs een paadje in fijne tuin met mooi zwembad. Huis is groot, met voldoende uitrusting, niet modern en wel wat donker.

Immersi nel verde

La casa è confortevole e curata. La piscina privata e il giardino ci hanno fatto passare due settimane di relax e svago. Tutto davvero molto bello.

Genieten op grote hoogte

Geweldig rustig boven in de bergen een paradijs voor jezelf. Alles voorhanden. Supergastvrij. Zwembad prive. Groot huis. Boodschappen voor meerdere dagen doen want huis ligt wel afgelegen. Pizzeria onder aan de berg is geweldig maar ook als je haalt met auto want is 5 km klimmen. Enige nadeel ter plekke is dat de kerkklok van Gello circa 75meter afstand staat en 3x per uur slaat. Een keer half uur 2x hele uur. Tip: let op dat je met de route op Gello de Pescaglia rijdt want Zijn meerdere

Wunderschönes Haus mit ruhiger...

Wunderschönes Haus mit ruhiger Lage in den Bergen und tollem Blick bis nach Lucca. Sehr gepflegtes Anwesen mit sehr netter Vermieterin. Die Ausstattung war in Ordnung, lediglich in der Küche fehlte das ein oder andere, müsste man mal alles etwas aufstocken. Wir konnten uns aber immer gut behelfen. Wir würden wieder hinfahren und das Haus auch Freunden empfehlen. Der Pool war immer sauber. Ein Auto braucht man auf jeden Fall, die Anreise ist doch schon weit oben in den Bergen, was in der Beschreibung doch nicht so rüberkommt. Reisetipps: Strand Viareggio sehr sauber, allerdings Preise vor Ort vergleichen da wir für die Liegen einen Preisunterschied von 20–80 € hatten. Luca, Pisa und Florenz sehr empfehlenswert. Desweiteren der Canyon Park in Luca und die Ristorante Molin della Volpe in Gello. Günstig super lecker und sehr freundliche Bedienungen.

Fijn verblijf in Italiaanse sfeer

Prachtig Italiaans huis, sfeervol ingericht. Voldoende ruimte, van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijne en praktische buitenkeuken. Heerlijk privé zwembad, prachtige tuin. Wel wat afgelegen, dus rekening houden met boodschappen halen. Mooie plek om te relaxen en te genieten van het buitenleven en het prachtige uitzicht. Wij hebben hier genoten! Dicht bij Lucca en Pisa. Eigenaresse spreekt bijna geen Engels maar via Google translate app is het goed te doen.
