This Hampton is very convenient in regard to being close to the much more expensive convention hotel and the cost is quite reasonable. One issue perhaps of course is that it is in an area that has some poverty issues and consequent manifestations, but again, it is the best value for attending this annual convention when it is held in Philadelphia.

Stayed here for vacation for 4 nights my first time in Philadelphia.. everything seemed to be going okay until the end of my stay. I got charged for 4 nights of valet parking even though I had my rental car for 1 night and self-parked.
During checkout I also got charged another $100 for an unknown reason. The valet and I confirmed with the front desk staff and they supposedly removed the charges during my stay.
A week later I’ve been charged a total of $230 and only got refunded $100. I’ve spoken to multiple employees here and they each provided me different reasons to why this mistake occurred and kept needing to confirm with valet even though we had all already communicated in person. This has been a disaster experience and it seems like there is a lack of leadership and communication among the hotel staff team overall. Everybody seems to be in charge, however nobody knows what’s going on…
Really disappointing as all these unwarranted transactions stressed me out during my trip. I was told by Tristian I would receive an email regarding my remaining refund and still haven’t been contacted..… Safe to assume I’m not gonna get the rest of my refund back.. The lack of unprofessionalism is appalling. I recommend not staying here. if you can avoid this hotel, please do at all cost.
