Unfortunately this stay did not match the listing photos or expectations. When we arrived the unit had a strong odor and generally felt unclean. Several areas appeared poorly maintained and the overall condition of the condo needs significant attention.Because of the condition of the property we chose to leave early. We communicated with the host and were eventually given a partial refund at the owner’s discretion, though it did not amount to the unused nights we had requested. It was also difficult to obtain clear information about how the refund amount was calculated.After two weeks of communication with Vrbo, additional compensation was offered following their review of the photos we provided. We had also offered to share photos of the issues directly with the host.Hopefully the property receives the cleaning and maintenance it needs, as the location itself is convenient.
