The hotel is dated, but you can tell they are in the process of painting and giving it a little facelift. My biggest complaint was the lack of a shuttle. I booked this hotel for two reasons, I needed someplace to sleep my family of six for a short overnight layover so I wanted hotel transport. Our flight was delayed so we didn’t get to Phoenix until 1:00 am. We went straight to the taxi stand like we were directed. We called the hotel and the taxi company and they kept saying someone was coming when in fact no one was coming. We finally got an Uber at 3:00 am. It was not convenient or worth the money I paid. I won’t stay here again.

I was not aware of the issue with our cab service. I will look into this to see where the miscommunication was. we feel that is a great way for us to seperate ourselves from other hotels and we do truly regret that you did not get to take full advantage.

Check in was 3 p.m. I arrived at 2:30. They would not let anyone start the check in process, and there were already several people waiting. I don't know why, even if the rooms were not ready yet, they didn't check people in and tell them they had to wait until 3 to go to the rooms, to avoid a line. I decided to go return my rental car first, since I thought when I got back there would be no line. I returned at 3:40, there was a line to check in. There were two people at the desk, very slow, and only one credit card terminal for them to share. Finally checked in after a wait of about 30 minutes. The safety bolt on the door was broken. I called to see if there was a computer where I could print my boarding pass. The person who answered the phone said she wasn't sure because she only started working a fews days earlier.

I enjoyed the mini fridge & microwave oven. I did not like the heating unit or lack of. The unit in my room never warmed up.

Our tv didn't work on Saturday morning. It was apparently fixed durning the day while we were out, but we got in late Saturday evening and left very very early for our flight out of Phoenix on Sunday, so Saturday morning would have been our only opportunity to watch it. The ceiling above the bathtub was wet and stained when we arrived and was actively dripping by early Sunday morning. Overall a very rundown property, needing attention and repair.

We dropped our car off at the hotel before a flight, and it was very easy to arrange that with them and get transportation to the airport. On our return, which is when we were staying at the hotel, we were told to call the hotel to get transportation from the airport to the hotel. We were placed on hold for 22 minutes. After that I thought our call might have been lost so I called back and the lady was very rude, placed me on hold again and slammed down the phone mid-sentence. After another 13 minutes on hold she was very short with me but got me transportation to the hotel. Once there, we waited about 10 minutes to be helped and were then given a room. When we got into the room, the water was running in the bathtub and was not able to be turned off and the bathroom was a mess from this. We went back downstairs (this is now almost midnight and we started trying to get transportation to the hotel at 9:45 PM) and the other person at the desk said we never should have been given that room. They then panicked because there were no other rooms available that night. The two of them discussed options and they thought there might be one room but it might not be cleaned so one of them went to check. About 8 minutes later she came back down and told us the room was fine. When we got into it, the first thing we saw was a dirty hand towel on the floor. The room was not clean and the bathroom had hair in the sink, globs of something in the shower, a dirty floor, etc with towels not availa
