Clean room, friendly staff but construction going on. We had 2 rooms side by side and both had air conditioning malfunction. It was freezing. We complained multiple times and they sent a technician but they couldn’t fix it. My friend who stayed in the second room had to move to a different room one night because the ac wouldn’t work. We didn’t sleep well go any of the 4 nights. Staff were apologetic but what’s the point if the stay is ruined. They gave us some fruit and a free ride to the airport to compensate which in my opinion is not enough to make up for the inconvenience and lack of sleep

I try to stay at Hilton or Marriott properties. This Doubletree, is slightly less than the quality that I’m accustomed to staying. For the price charged, I think I could’ve found a better place. But the staff was extremely nice. The room was very clean, the morning breakfast was very tasty and extensive. If I return to Patong, I would probably choose a different hotel.

Great location and easy to walk anywhere or catch a taxi outside your hotel. Love the 3 seperate pools and 3 swim up bars so it’s never too busy to get a bed around the pool. The restaurant and bar outside the front of the hotel is great too, they make good cocktails. All the staff are lovely and so helpful. Would definitely stay again
