Conveniently located 10 minutes from Pilot Mtn State Park, 20 Minutes from Hanging Rock State Park, 20 Minutes from Dan River, 20 minutes from Mt. Airy (Mayberry), 25 minutes to Winston-Salem. Great location for accessing both Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain state parks. Kitchen is well stocked with things you need for cooking your own meals. Outdoor hangout spots include a front porch with rockers and glide bench, back deck with grill and table and a side patio with a firepit! Very clean, well kept!

Booked this cabin for a small weekend getaway to Pilot Mountain and could not have been more satisfied! The cabin was very clean and well-equipped. Loved the porch and back deck areas for relaxing in the mornings & evenings. The area itself was lovely and peaceful. Perfect for star-gazing! Only 10 minutes from Pilot Mountain State Park Trails and the charming downtown area. The owners were responsive and access/checkout were easy. We plan to stare here again the next time we're in the area!

This is an amazing cabin. Very quaint, cozy and very well maintained. We enjoyed our weekend. This was a Valentines getaway for my wife and I. We will come back for more getaway trips to this cabin. Absolutely recommend. It’s not just for couple either! Couch folds out to sleep two more! LoveLove love!!!

This was a great getaway. The cabin was indeed cozy and conveniently located in between the two State Parks - Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock. For such a small space it had everything needed for our stay. Loved it and would definitely come back again.

We enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was very clean and cozy. We had everything we needed it and 10 min from hanging rock(a park worth visiting) and near King city. Hosts have outdone themselves in creating a cabin that’s as well appointed and new as it is cozy. Everything I wanted to visit was within a half-hour drive (Pilot Mtn, Winston-Salem, Hanging Rock), would 100% stay here again!

A Great Little Cabin!

This was our third stay in the Lakota Rock Cabin. It’s very clean, it has very thing you need for cooking in, and it’s in a great location for hiking in the nearby state parks, and exploring nearby towns and communities. It’s also close to numerous wineries. We will definitely stay here again.
