Lovely traditional restored country Finca set in idylic location in the Vall de March. Outside terraces and garden with fenced private pool. Short drive to the beach and 30 minutes walk to Pollensa's old town, villa in Pollensa with pool .

This authentic restored Mallorcan finca sits in the picturesque Son March valley between Pollensa and Lluc and provides very comfortable and atmospheric accommodation with spectacular views. Inside, the house is furnished in typical local style with beamed ceilings, high-quality furniture and a well-equipped farmhouse kitchen. Outside, there is a pleasant shaded terrace with fantastic views of the mountains and the fenced swimming pool whilst around the front of the villa, across the courtyard, the barbecue house provides a great spot for the evening, al fresco dining. A great property if you are looking for a villa in Pollensa with pool.

There is a large 10m x 5m swimming pool with the benefit of a fence to keep the little ones safe.

Blissful getaway

We stayed at Can Pontico for two weeks in August; two families with children from 10-12. The villa was fantastic for this as there are two separate spaces - one upstairs and one downstairs- each with its own bathroom with a shower in each. The main appeal for us was the stunning location. The views of mountains from all sides made it a really picturesque and relaxing stay. The pool was a great size and a real hit with the kids. The terrace off the kitchen overlooks the pool and mountains and we spent most of our time here. The owner, Juan, was there every few days to clean the pool. He is a wonderful, welcoming person. We visited the amazing spectacle of La Patrona festival, and by pure coincidence found ourselves outside his town house in Pollensa. Juan and his wife insisted we come inside to watch from an upstairs window, giving us all food and drinks. We were very glad to be inside when the crowds and noise became so crazy that we feared we might be crushed! The festival is an amazing week-long celebration at the start of August each year- we’d really recommend it. Beautiful Pollensa was a 35 minute walk away. After a week, we found the safe route to walk ( the main road is not safe!) We thought it would have been helpful to have an information book in the Villa, detailing this walk and other places to visit. Other info such as rubbish disposal, linen change etc would have been helpful. Having said that, any questions we had were quickly answered by HomeAway or Juan. We visited Cala Saint Vincent- great for snorkelling, the caves at Camponet and the beautiful Pine Walk in Puerto Pollensa. The Sunday Market in Pollensa is fantastic for food and crafts. Overall a wonderful holiday in a fantastic location- we’d love to return!

Lovely to be back here again

Our second stay at Can Pontica with our family including two little grandsons aged 2 and 5. It was just as lovely as we all remembered it to be. Everything was spotlessly clean as before. We chose this villa mainly because the pool is fenced and the garden is level with lovely lawned areas that have plenty of welcome shade. Also the entrance gates prevent small children from getting out so they could be free to explore and play. This villa is in a peaceful, rural location surrounded by stunning mountains, yet only about a 10 or 15 minute drive to some lovely beaches. Juan, the owner, came up every couple of days to service the pool and check everything was ok. It was so nice to see him again. I hope it won’t be too long before we’re back!!

Wunderbare Unterkunft!

Ein sehr schönes, und vor allem gepflegtes Haus inmitten von Feldern und Schafsherden :). Die Einrichtung bietet alles, was man fĂŒr die Selbstverpflegung benötigt. Die Besitzer waren regelmĂ€ĂŸig vor Ort, und haben sich um den Garten, den Pool und andere Belange gekĂŒmmert. Ein defekter Duschkopf wurde z.B. innerhalb eines Tages ersetzt. FĂŒr den Veranstalter: ein Wermutstropfen waren die bestellten Reisebetten fĂŒr unsere 2 jĂ€hrigen Jungs: diese wurden erstens mit VerspĂ€tung und zweitens leider ohne Matratze und Bettzeug geliefert. DafĂŒr, dass man dafĂŒr extra zahlen muß (ca. 20 Euro pro Bett, wobei ein neues ca. 35 Euro kostet!), empfinden wir es als Zumutung, die Kinder eine Woche lang auf einer "Polsterhöhe" von 1 cm schlafen zu lassen. Der Tipp, man könnte doch HandtĂŒcher drauflegen, ist ebenso unmenschlich. Alles in allem aber, wenn der Veranstalter sich kĂŒnftig etwas mehr MĂŒhe bei der Organisation gibt, eine SEHR lohnenswerte Unterkunft mit einer EINMALIGEN Sicht auf die Berge und Natur.

Beautiful villa with great views

Well kitted out, lovely house finished to a really good standard and attention to detail. Away from the road with lovely views of the mountains and a really relaxing sun terrace. Only downside was some mouse poo in the saucepans in the pan cupboard. Would stay again.
