Great hiking, boating, fishing etc. If you just want rest you will find peace and tranquilty here. We are located 10 min from the Straigt of Jaun de Fuca, Crescent Beach, Lake Crescent and Fort Warden St. Park. Come and explore for the experience of a life time.

Gateway Getaway

Sweet studio in remote-feeling location relatively close to attractions of northern ONP. Greeted by Don and Blue, the first with suggestions if you want them, and both very friendly. Fell asleep to frog chorus and enjoyed seeing the baby ducks, robins, red-winged black birds and occasional elk.

Perfect for us!

Serenaded by frogs at night. Quiet except for bird song in the day time. On a lovely pond with all kinds of trees on the property. Don is a very attentive host and offers wonderful conversation and little gifts. And the dog, Blue, acts as a second host, and is a sweetheart. The accommodation meets every need.

A truly amazing escape

What a fantastic getaway! Don, our host, has created a real sanctuary, surrounded by beautiful tranquility. The home is absolutely beautiful, with all the creature comforts, set in the most peaceful natural beauty, and so close to so many of the amazing things that the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. Don is a fantastic host, and was so helpful making our short escape a memorable experience.

Reset Button

Secluded, expansive, peaceful property with wildlife and pond. The room had the desired functionality and supplies. Most importantly, we made two friends: Don and Blue. Our stay was unique and personal; I felt thoroughly refreshed. My 8yr old daughter and I give it two thumbs up. We'll be missing Don and Blue til the next time we visit.

Very beautiful, and friendly host and location

The property is beautiful, peaceful and very worth it. With the lake and gree. meadow, hiking and kayaking possibilities. This place exceeded our expectations, the host was super cool and his doggo Blue quickly made friends with our Weimaraner.Definitely have to come back again as the views are amazing and it’s such an ez escape away from the daily hustle and bustle. 5 Stars easy!

Chose this property because of the location. Such a great find! I read the initial listing wrong and thought it was a separate structure. So I got confused upon arrival. The space is an addition attached to the main house. Be sure to read check in and driving instructions and you won’t get confused like I did. But even though it is an apartment, it is still very private. It’s new, clean, and well stocked. My pup and I will definitely be back.

Olympic national park vacation stay

My girlfriend and i stayed here for our trip to the ONP and had an incredible time with easy access to all of the spots we wanted to visit. an easy 1-3 hours to all the far reaches of the park, an even easier 20-30 minutes to some prime spots in the park. the room was clean and comfortable, we were able to cook almost all our meals there which was nice. beautiful location as well

Overnight while exploring Olympic

We needed a homey spot to bridge activities as we explored Olympic and to cut back on drive time. We found this stay to have everything we needed, good location, reasonable pricing. The bed could be bigger, wouldn’t want to sleep with my spouse for too many nights without a larger bed (we prefer king or cali king). Shower/ bathroom was great and instructions to property were helpful. Would stay again!

Beautiful location

Don’s property is breathtaking and so peaceful. The space was just as described and was exactly what we needed in between some nights camping. Getting to meet Blue, Don’s very charming dog, was the cherry on top. Terrific spot and we would absolutely come back.
