the experience was dismal and I will not book again at Quality Inn
I made a last minute decision to travel and on the day before our stay I
booked for a room for one night .
Since the confirmation stated that payment would not be collected until
arrival , I felt that I could make this reservation knowing that our plans
were tentative.
Our plans changed and the very next day , which was the day of arrival, I
called to cancel the reservation in the early afternoon.
I expected no difficulty cancelling since the reservation had just been
made.
I was still charged for the stay even though I had called to cancel .
The manager was completely unwilling to consider the circumstances that led
to this cancellation.
I will never again reserve a room at a Quality Inn

Not great...
Pros:Free breakfast
An old motel...our room was in the annex across the street from the office. The first room we were assigned was dirty and there was moldy food in the refrigerator. Moved to a different room which was okay but not great. The place is badly in need of new carpet. Complimentary breakfast was adequate.

Okay place...nothing special.
Location was just off of Highway 101, close to the ferry terminal, small movie theater, Safeway and the site of the AAU Basketball Tournament which is why we were in Port Angeles. Room was adequate since we were only there to sleep. Queen size beds were comfortable. We were in an annex room which is across the street from the lobby. It was quiet at night - could not hear traffic which was a plus. Breakfast included waffles, biscuits and sausage gravy, cold cereals, instant oatmeal, yogurt, muffins, danish, toast, fruit juice, apples, oranges, coffee, tea, cocoa - ample choices for a simple breakfast. Front desk folks were friendly. The motel is "tired" and could use some attention. Carpets were worn, needs fresh paint on the walls. Bathroom was tiny, tiny, tiny. Room had a coffee maker, microwave and small refrigerator (no freezer space). Big windows were clean and had a peek-a-boo view of the mountains. Cost was a little less than other motels in the area. Not for the traveler looking for an upscale destination. It was adequate but nothing special.
There's a restaurant on site. Free breakfast is served daily, and guests can also enjoy a free nightly manager's reception. WiFi is free in public spaces. You'll find a business center on site. The business-friendly Quality Inn Port Angeles - near Olympic National Park also features a vending machine, coffee/tea in a common area, and laundry facilities. Self parking is free. This Port Angeles hotel is smoke free.
