The Compass Rose House is one of our 2 separate vacation rental homes on over 10 acres, all with stunning Olympic Mountain views.

These secluded homes offer you a haven to explore all the diversity the Olympic Peninsula has to offer. Roam our lush lupine covered meadows, see Bald Eagles and Blue Heron and have easy access to the Olympic National Park as well as all the city amenities. This is the best of all worlds for a northwest experience.

It is very gratifying to learn how thrilled our guests are with our beautifully crafted homes and the gorgeous surroundings. Nearly every guest says our homes far exceed their expectations and they wished they had planned on staying longer. We enjoy providing our guests with local tips and advice on how to take advantage of all the incredible wonders of the Olympic Peninsula. We had a glorious 4-day stay at the Compass Rose with our family of six. Our kids loved sleeping in the loft, and we loved the privacy of the downstairs bedroom. Lots of space in the kitchen and family room. We all enjoyed the hot tub, and watching wildlife around the property. Close enough to Sequim and Port Angeles, but feels like you're in a secluded cabin. We would highly recommend the Compass Rose for families looking for a private retreat.

Another beautiful stay

This was our second time staying in this home and will not be our last. It is a little slice of Heaven. Loved the visits from the deers and hares. Views in clear days cannot be beat. Super comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. Always a bonus to have laundry as well! Can’t wait to be back.

Olympic National Park Visit

Our family of four found the Compass Rose to be a good spot to stay while we spent several days exploring Olympic National Park. We saw deer in the yard each day and our kids really enjoyed the hot tub! This property offered a nice feeling of seclusion, and having a washer/dryer was a big plus for us.

Great House!

This house was perfect for what we needed during our visit to Olympic National park. It was well stocked with cooking supplies, towels, and blankets. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. We loved that deer came right up to the house!

A beautiful home and location!

We enjoyed our family trip to the Olympic Peninsula and NP! Our stay at the Compass Rose made relaxing easy after long days in the park! Compass Rose is beautiful

The Compass Rose cabin has it all: spectacular view of the mountains,quiet setting, halfway between Sequim and Port Angeles, attractive exterior and interior, comfortable furniture and beds, a fully equipped kitchen, radiant floor heat, washer and dryer, hot tub. It is the perfect hideway in the woods with all the comfort of a home. This was our second stay in Compass Rose, we hope for a third stay in the future.

Wonderful vibe

This place is fabulous and has the most lovely vibe. It was a great spot for our girls' weekend. Loved the fireplace, loads of natural light and comfy living area that was perfect for catching up over wine. Loft dwellers...be extra cautious on those ladder stairs, especially when making nighttime treks to the first-floor bathroom! :-)

Just what we were looking for

The place was beautiful and just the size we needed on our little outing. The location was perfect for getting away from the city life and stargazing. Though, I would have really liked a safety gate with how steep the stairs were for the loft. We really enjoyed our stay and the owners were reasonable for their check out and cleaning process. 10/10 great vibes all around.

Beautiful cabin with lots of deer on the property

This cabin is new and has everything in the kitchen that you might need for cooking. The hot tub was great for stargazing at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A peaceful haven on the Olympic Peninsula

Our whole family loved this house & its surroundings. We all slept so well on the comfortable beds and loved the fact that this property is situated on a beautiful piece of land, but is still only minutes from Port Angeles and the park. The hot tub on the back patio is not to be missed. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need to prepare meals & the stereo system provides great music which adds to the ambiance. LOVED this place!!!
