Peace and Tranquility - 3 minute walk to beach! Ocean Views from deck!

Welcome to Peace and Tranquility! Enjoy the warm, relaxing ocean available in the Gulf without the hassles of international travel. A comfortable, two-bedroom home (sleeps 10) with a spacious, updated main suite including tub & walk in closet. Features a large 2nd bedroom and full bathroom, accessible from both bedroom and open living area. The kitchen, living room, and dining area are located in the middle of the home which accommodates easy social gathering. The kitchen has custom cabinets with granite counter tops. An island in the middle of kitchen faces the open living area and deck with beach view. The house-wide half covered/half uncovered deck is comfortable for both sun worshipers and shade seekers, alike. From here, you can listen to the ocean and watch the waves. The beach is clean and quiet for family fun. Beach access is a short walk or drive on hard surface road.

Many guests would prefer to wash linens/clean/prepare house for following guest. If you would like to save $125 for cleaning fee, please reach out to host.

The house was clean . The refrigerator was clean but the previous guest had left food items behind. The ac did smell musty. The owners were fantastic though the entire process. The porch was great and access to the beach was amazing. We loved our stay and will consider staying again on our annual beach trip.

Peace & Transquility is a very appropriate name.

There were 6 of us that enjoyed our visit. This was the third time to stay here. My grown children ages 55, 52,48 and 8 yr old granddaughter have requested the same place because it’s quiet and the beach is not so crowded. The neighbors are friendly and respectful. The house itself is a great place to relax after the beach There are movies to select from. The kitchen is a large enough space to cook meals together. The beds are comfortable and we didn’t have to bring our linen. Washer and dryer is available to wash linens before leaving. There is a shower downstairs to wash the sand off as well as a water hose to keep things clean. The new grill was nice for cooking outdoors. We will use this place again when we come for a reunion or just to have a great family time together. .

Loved this cabin! It was more than enough space for me, my husband and our son. Did like that it was closer to the ferry side because we did take a day trip to Galveston during our visit. Check in was a breeze and communication response time with the owners was quick. Would definitely rent again.

Perfect Getaway

Enjoyed the access to the beach as well as Galveston and Crystal Beach. The accommodations are nice and the price is in line for what is offered. Kitchen and master suite is very nice. Kathy answered me fairly quickly every time I text her.

Relaxing stay at the beach

This house was perfect! It’s in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood just a short walk from the beach! We had the best time! The two bedrooms worked great for our family of four. It’s a split floor plan and both bedrooms have their own full bathroom. Kitchen was a great size, and it was stocked with everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again! Loved the deck. Very relaxing to sit outside, have coffee, and listen to the ocean sounds!

The property owner is awesome. Communication was spot on. The property was a great location. The outside shower doesn’t work but we used the water hose to rinse sand off before we went upstairs. We will definitely use this spot again.

Great place!

Great location and the house was very nice and clean. Very quiet area and love having a view of the water, in several spots between cabins. Also loved having the marsh area on one side with no cabins. We will definitely be back next summer.

Awesome House and Communication!

This place is in a perfect spot for a family get-a-way. Neighborhood was quiet, peaceful & a few blocks from the beach. The name says it all “Peace & Tranquility” We will definitely be renting again as the house had everything we needed plus. Next time we will only pack food and clothes. Kathy is a 5-star host!!! If you have not stayed here, you are missing out!

Check in and out process was super easy!! Home was exactly as described and VERY well stocked!! Although we didn’t walk to the beach, it’s easily doable! The host was very communicative and shared lots of helpful info about the community/shopping/etc. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!!

AMAZING 60th Birthday Getaway!

We surprised my mother with a getaway for her 60th birthday and she absolutely LOVED it! The location, the atmosphere, the wildlife, and the house itself is very welcoming. It came outfitted more than enough linens, towels, dishes, and entertainment. The garage below also came with plenty of beach supplies (including a beach umbrella) and toys for kids! The porch had just the perfect outlook to see the ocean and enjoy the breeze. My family really enjoyed drinking our morning coffee listening to seagulls and enjoying the sunrise. We will be returning :)

Our peace and Tranquility Stay

Second time to stay Father’s Day weekend from Friday and left on Monday. Quiet, comfortable place to relax and then go down and enjoy the beach. All the people encountered in the neighborhood and beach were so kind and friendly. This beach is much quieter and less crowded that the Crystal Beach area. Hope to come again next year uf not before.
