I don't normally issue reviews but felt this space deserved the review. This is such a beautiful and well appointed home. It truly felt like Hao and Thuy opened their home to us. This was the cleanest space I've ever rented and Hao and Thuy deserve the commendation. We appreciate how meticulous they were with the design and decor, the effort they made in catering to our every need and the communication to ensure we enjoyed our stay. They missed nothing and provided for everything they think we would ever need while staying in their beautiful home. I would stay nowhere else if I visit that area again. Definitely 5 stars.......
The home is as beautiful as pictured, the owners are very responsive. We had to contact them with an issue in the upstairs bathroom and they were very respectful and asked if a time would work for us for them to enter their home. We returned to the home from MCRD (which is only a 10 minute drive) and they were at the house so we were able to meet them. Very very nice people!!
Spent 4 nights here with family for my son's graduation from boot camp. It is a lovely neighborhood, close to base. Home is very spacious, beds are quite comfortable, and we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. We specifically picked this house because it was pet friendly and we could not have been more happy. The back yard is small but fenced in and it worked beautifully for our dogs. They even have dog bowls and beds for use during your stay. The restaurant at the Marina is only a minutes walk away and the food is great. We did not cook at the house but the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need should you want to.
The place was nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, there were four incidents that made the experience less enjoyable.1.I found a cockroach in the master bedroom alive. I notified the host, and they said it was likely due to the weather, mentioning that other houses in the area were experiencing the same issue. I wasnât really convinced, as I live in Florida where the weather during the rainy season is terrible, and I donât have any such problems at home.2.The smoke detector alarm went on for no reasonâthere was no fire or smoke. Thankfully, we were able to remove it from the room and place it under some pillows to minimize the noise so we could go back to sleep. It went off for more than an hour. We informed the host, and they contacted remote assistance, but it took a very long time to resolve.3.A previous guest had damaged one of the nightstands in a bedroom. I was informed that someone would come by to fix it, but I didnât feel comfortable knowing someone might show up while we were out.4.We went to Beaufort for my sonâs Marine graduation. I asked for a late checkout (until noon, since we had to be at the airport at 1:00) to give my son a chance to change clothes, but the host said it wasnât possible. After all the incidents we experienced, I honestly feel that this last request could have been handled more thoughtfully.
Spanish Moss was PERFECT especially for those going to pick up their new Marines-location was perfect, about 9 min to post, which was very very convenient, especially when you have to get up early and go. The house has ABSOLUTELY everything you need-even the fur babies have everything-water and food bowels-bedsâŠetc. Never did we need to go to the store for anything we needed. The house is very clean and has a perfect layout. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful-another perfect location for those that like to go for a walk.
