We had such a great time. We laughed, loved, eat sleep and had a excellent tome. 4 kitchens gave us enough space. The young generation had space to enjoy cousin time and the senior family members enjoy reminiscing about old times. We were not disappointed. The host were excellent and meet our needs. You will not disappoint by renting this VRBO. I would give it 10 stars.
Wonderful home for our large group of friends who love to get together for relaxing trips. Well stocked with all the necessities you may need....more than we expected. Enjoyed calling this home for the week.
Our stay was amazing! The pictures really don't do it justice, this house is HUGE and luxurious! It's essentially a quad-plex combined into one singular home. It's massive and located in an absolutely beautiful spot right near the Marina. Breath taking views, the sounds of the lake, and absolute relaxation are the big highs here.My party and I had alot of fun with the 2 large hydraulic hottubs, pickleball court, and giant chess, jenja, and corn hole games as well as the 6 kayaks they provided :) We had plenty of space in the house it never felt crowded and like we all had our own personal place to de-stress.As with any Lakeside home, there are many spiders/flies/bugs that will be both in and around the property. The home was very clean inside, but I felt that there were a good amount of uncleaned areas around the outside patio furnature and hottubs- mostly spiderwebs and leaves. This was minor and nothing a boom couldn't fix though.Overall, this is absolutely the nicest home I've ever stayed in, my party and I had a ton of fun with all the provided amenities, and the many great bars and activities you can do in the area and right around the corner in Lexington as well.If you're looking for a Lakeside mansion with tons to do, I really don't think you could choose a better spot. It was absolutely money well spent.
Stayed here with 15 friends for my husbandâs 30th birthday. The hosts were very communicative & helpful throughout our stay. I was texting with a bot mostly but the company was responsive. Definitely not a family owned situation - felt very corporate. The duplex connects on the 1st floor with interior glass doors. Each bedroom had a full bathroom. One bedroom door was broken, and people struggled with controlling the lights/fans in the rooms. The checkout was strict - strip all beds, start towels in washer, take out trash, load dishes in washer & start, etc. The place is so big it was a huge lift. They texted asking me to take the trash out to the curb on Sunday (we stayed until Monday) & all 4 trash cans were full with trash that wasnât ours. They sent staff to do it because I refused. No beach on site, though we were told we could swim. Water level was LOW & there were 20 geese on the mucky âbeachâ at all times plus a rotting fish. The dock pictured cannot be used.Pickleball, kayaks, paddle boards, & cornhole not in the listing but provided. We were told there was a wood burning fire pit, but its only 2 gas fires.Probably wouldnât stay here again because having 4 kitchens, 10 suites, 2 hot tubs, 2 fire pits, & a split duplex wasnât ideal for our friends & family to feel like we were âtogetherâ on vacation. There wasnât a room where we could all fit comfortably plus no dining room. Personal preference. It was still beautiful & stocked w necessities.
Lighthouse Cove was a wonderful space for our family reunion of 20 ranging from 10weeks old to 85 years old! Plenty of activities at the house with two corn hole sets, pickleball, giant chess, large hot tubs, fire pits, paddleboarding, kayaks, and fishing (bring your own poles.). Plenty of kitchen supplies for our family meals. Great grill set up. We did have to rent tables and chairs as there are none on site. Cute town, marina, and beach were walkable. We had a wonderful dinner at Stone Lodge. Only advice would be water management with some of the shower configurations that cause lots of water to flow onto floor creating slippery tiles. Weâre hoping to come back!
We stayed at this property to celebrate my motherâs 60th birthday, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this homeâit was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. With 30 of us (including small, co-sleeping toddlers, approved in advance by House Management), this home provided the ideal blend of space, privacy, and gathering areas. As the family coordinator for this trip, I wanted to offer future renters some helpful details that arenât included in the standard listing. From the front, the property features two main entrances and is essentially designed as two connected townhomes. Each side mirrors the other with identical layouts. In front of each entrance are two designated parking spaces, and just across the street is a gravel lot with free additional parking. There are 4 total levels to the home, and 10 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. There are 6 half bathrooms, with 2 located on the main, and 2 each on the lower and loft areas of the home.Bedrooms:Main Level: (2) King bedroomsLower Level: (2) King bedrooms w/ walkout access to the outdoor space, (1 per side)Third Level: (6) Queen bedrooms, (3 per side)Fourth level: No bedrooms, just a half bathroom, wetbar and access to a private balcony that faces the lake.Kitchens:There are 4 fully stocked kitchens. Two on the main level and 2 on each lower level leading to the outdoor space. Out back there's a gas grill and flat top grill.Overall this space is perfect! I highly recommend it!
I just wanted to say thank you â this is honestly the best house Iâve ever stayed in. Everything was perfect, from the comfort and cleanliness to the little details that made it feel like home. I truly appreciated the experience and would absolutely love to stay again in the future!
