Our first time in this area of Florida. We were just a couple in the large house but we prefer a house to a condo and itâs hard to find a small cottage. Loved exploring and the beaches are phenomenal. The house was perfectly appointed, decorated and located. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen could use some new pots and pans. Several were unusable. Several lights in the kitchen were burned out. Beach access was a three minute walk, left or right out the front door. Having the pool was such a plus. Rode bikes throughout the quiet neighborhood and enjoyed sitting on the front porch at any time of day. The side screened in porch with dining table was something I was looking forward to having, unfortunately that whole porch was covered in dirt and dust. I would have to spend 30 minutes just to get it usable. I understand living on the water brings salt and sand, but this was obviously not cleaned in many months. The most troublesome issue was that when we booked this house in January it looked like (on both Google Maps and vrbo site) it was a corner lot, with a neighbor on just one side. When I checked the site in March the pictures had changed and there was now a towering three story house next door. This might have altered my selection⊠Pictures should be current and updated often, particularly for such a major change. Despite all this, we enjoyed our stay at The Last Resort.
