Know when you book that this a very old building. It has been updated and retrofitted but it's old. Go expecting to find charm in the history not a modern hotel. If that is your mindset from the beginning you will experience nice people with a sincere mission, good dinner options and wonderful views. It's a lovely jumping off place for wine tasting, beach combing and exploring the Olympic Peninsula.

A decent choice between Kingston and Port Townsend

Pros: Great view, good vacation.
The hotel staff was very nice but the WiFi didn't work for IPHones, there was a missing lamp on one side of the bed and a light was out in the bathroom. You had to be careful in our hallway so you didn't walk into the circular staircase. However, the restaurant staff and food was very good. We had dinner and breakfast there.
