Nice hotel in a very pretty area near the Indiana Dunes National Park, Chelberg Farm and lakeshore attractions. Hotel is nice but can be cumbersome to get room cleaned for extended stays. Housekeeping only cleans rooms on checkouts. Pizzeria Unos is next door for dinner which is great.

This is a lovely, vintage style resort hotel next to the E Calumet River and a few minutes from the Dunes National Park. The rooms are large and comfortable. (Though the beds are very high). There is a Pizzeria Uno on the property and a meeting or bridal center. Breakfast is the same hot breakfast and do it yourself pancakes or cereal that you get in many similarly priced hotels. I did appreciate the 24-hour coffee, tea and hot chocolate machine. Excellent WiFi. Lovely pool. Great staff.

Nice woodsy location (great relief after spending the day in Chicago!) Very quiet. Nice lodge feel to the place. Room had some construction or remodeling debris left behind.

Loved our stay

The Inn is unique and quiet. Old world charm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. While they are making updates, the Inn is kept extremely neat and clean. Pool area is beautiful with a fireplace and the water is crystal clean. Area to walk around and enjoy sitting around a firepit at night. The Dunes national park and Lake Michigan is a must to see.

We enjoyed our stay!!

Overall good! My 11 year old son and I stayed and loved the grounds and the cottage lodge feel. There are no elevators which sucked being in the 3rd floor and the place does have a musty smell in the halls but the rooms weren’t as bad after we left the balcony door open for a few it seem to go away. The breakfast was ok the sausage was gross but eggs were good. There isn’t coffee pots in the rooms BUT they had a free coffee machine 24 hours in the lobby along with hot and cold water. The pizza aT UNO attached was very good. The pool is big enough and nice. Overall especially for the money we would stay again.

Great old time place with lots of character

Great vintage place with lots of character and charm. Very clean and the staff is so friendly. There is a pizza place next door and the hotel offers snacks and soft drinks at very reasonable prices.
