Just a 5-minute walk from one of Italy’s most beautiful beaches, Torre Lapillo, Rusciu Te Lu Mare is an ideal spot for summer fun. This ground-floor apartment for 4 people, suits family or friends who want a convenient base, in the heart of this popular resort.
The apartment has a pretty veranda at the front, where guests can relax on the sofa or in the armchairs and watch the world go by. There is a private courtyard which serves as an outdoor dining room for relaxed meals al fresco.
Inside, there is an open-plan seating/dining area. This is furnished with an L-shaped sofa, dining table and chairs. The separate kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a Moka coffee maker.

The neighbouring resort of Porto Cesareo (9 minutes) also has beautiful beaches and lively nightlife. The town’s weekly market (Thursday) is the best place to find the finest local food, including olive oil and a variety of cheeses. Further down the Ionian coast, the historic town of Gallipoli (35 minutes) is a very popular tourist destination during the summer months. In Greek, Gallipoli means “beautiful city” and the town does not disappoint. The town’s ancient walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. There is a daily fish market where if you go early you can pick up the freshest catch of the day.
