Many lavish amenities make this home both inviting and exciting. This is an ideal choice for a large or extended family. Couples vacationing together will find this home has spacious rooms for gathering with friends as well as space for quiet time and privacy.

Throughout this elegant home are gorgeous Brazilian cherry wood floors. The spacious great room is very inviting with its lush, tropical views, gourmet kitchen with hands-free faucets and comfortable lanai with a large gas grill for cooking island delights. Everyone can enjoy watching movies made on Kauai as well as their favorite TV shows on the 60-inch plasma TV with surround sound. TV's in almost every room

The chef of the family will be thrilled at the many gourmet features of the kitchen which include an oversized Jenn-Air refrigerator/freezer, generous pantry, handy plate warmer, Fisher-Paykel dual-drawer dishwasher.

A great way to find and include fresh, local ingredients in your favorite recipes is to visit some of Kauai's sunshine (farmer's) markets that are held each week day in a different town on the island.

Take a refreshing dip in your swimming pool, relax in your adjacent hot tub, or luxuriate in the master suite's water and steam spa.

The 'penthouse' is the entire upstairs of this fabulous home and has golf course and distant ocean views. The remaining three bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms are on the first level with views of the lush foliage for which Kauai's north shore is famous. For the larger party rent both properties.

Princeville is the gateway to Kauai's north shore and a myriad of activities. Within just a few minutes' drive, you can be kayaking Hanalei River or, seasonally, hiking trails along Na Pali, horseback riding to waterfalls and deep-sea fishing. Look out at the ocean for sea turtles, frolicking dolphins and humpback whales (in winter months).

The shops and restaurants of Princeville Center are just minutes from the house. It's just a ten-minute drive to the charming town of Hanalei and one of the world's best beaches. Pool was the biggest disappointment - cold and we could not get the it to heat up- Hot tub was colder then the pool. We will never rent out this house again specifically for the pool and AC. The AC were all window units- rooms were loud and we were told to turn off every time we left the house - which made the house hot a humid for the first couple of hours we were home. Very nice host! He was the best but I would not stay at this house again.

Great trip to Kauai

The house was very nice, there was plenty of room for four couples to relax and enjoy the property. Plenty of outside seating, the hot tub was wonderful. We enjoyed making meals in the spacious kitchen as a group. Easy to find, beautiful area, prefect for exploring the northern coast.

Amazing Princeville property

Took my family on an amazing trip to Kauai and stayed at Kalihiwai. Photos are very accurate an in an amazing development right on the Makai Princeville Golf course. My grandchildren absolutely loved the pool and spa. Nearby hiking and beautiful beaches are also close. Close to Hanalei. We will definitely consider a return visit.

Great place for a group!

Very comfortable place for our family whose ages ranged from 9 to 71. Plenty of room inside and outside in beautiful surroundings. Good places to be together and private spaces for those needing peace and quiet. Excellent communication with the owner who left fruit and treats for our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. GREAT beds, 31/2 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, all made for an amazing vacation. Thank you Sue, we cannot wait to go back!

Relaxing Vacation

Our family had a great week vacation. Well kept home with great landscaping and pool/hot tub, all the beach supplies included, fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels and bedding in the rooms. We had a chance to relax and enjoy each other while watching the rain and the golfers. Thanks Sue!

Comfortable home in Princeville

Property manager was very pleasant to work with. The pool, although not large, was a big plus and just right for cooling off in the afternoon. The downstairs master ceiling fan did not work but the property manager is working on getting that fixed. Overall a very nice stay.

Gorgeous location

Although this is a terrific property for a large group in a beautiful location, there are a number of ways in which we felt it fell short of “luxury.” The two beds described as queen size are actually only full size. The swimming pool appears large in the listing photo but is actually a narrow plunge pool. On the plus side, the kitchen is well-equipped and living room and patio are great group hang-out spaces.
