Magnificent hotel! Everything about this hotel and our stay was exceptional. Gorgeous property, extremely clean and well-maintained, and the most wonderful and attentive staff. I felt like I was in paradise with the tremendous views, incredible room, top-notch service, and lovely breakfast. No matter where we were on the property the staff was friendly, attentive, and remembered our names and our favorite food and beverages. I can't wait to return!!

We just got back from a wonderful trip to PV and staying at the Grand Mirarmar was the highlight of our trip. This resort is BEAUTIFUL! The views and rooms are unbeatable. We thought it might not be as nice to not be right on the beach, but the breathtaking views and rooms made it very much worth it. Make sure you request a master suite with a jacuzzi. We stayed on the 3rd floor at first, and the views were great, but then upgraded to the 8th floor and the view was AMAZING. Our new favorite place to stay in PV. Location: Like the rest of the reviews state, its super easy to get to downtown and the beach from here. A simple 5 minute drive and the hotel has a set up with the taxis so that they can call you one very quickly. Longest we ever waited was 5mins. You can uber too but we never had to use that. Services and Staff: The Staff were great and very very helpful when it came to finding things to do in the area. Especially Alexis in reception and Dominic by the pool. Ask Alexis about the private beach that's further south of the hotel - it was a beautiful experience. All of the staff were really nice. They bring you water bottles and chocolate every day as well. Room service was great and there were always towels and enough amenities. Food: Breakfast is amazing and included! Dinner and pool food was really good too, but their room service is a little limited at night. We mostly ate dinner in downtown mostly. They need to add more variety to menu, but still worth it.

5 star service until check out. Beautiful hotel with awesome views.The staff was great for the most part, just had a bad experience with check out. First if they say there is a $100.00 credit if you spend money there read carefully because it's a scam. Just read the fine print because they will not tell you. If you question about it later they will get pretty upset.This brings me to my bad experience. I forgot to get his name I was so upset however he handles checkout during days. FYI when they print out the bill it is in Spanish and pesos. When we tried to ask if he could explain what the charges were he got very defensive right away and started raising his voice at me and my wife. He started to shove the paper in our faces and asked if this was our signature. He said you agreed to it! I then asked him to calm down and said we are just questioning what each charge was for. I told him he was coming on very strong. He said "he was very strong" then stared at me in my eye. I couldn't believe this was happening. All this took me by surprise since we had such a great experience up until that time. Long story short we ended up paying I think around $200 extra because we didn't spend enough at the hotel in each department. We spent $100 at the hotel by the way. Just read the fine print if they say there is a $100 dollar credit and don't ask them to explain what each charge on the bill is at check out. Also the hotel is far from the beach! I would not recommend the hotel to anyone!

We inderstand how important it is that your vacation end well and that everything should be cristal clear from the beginning, specially when it comes to items of chargable nature. We will work hard to avoid this incidents in the future and we will try to make it perfectly clear should you ever visit us again. Regarding the geographical situation of the hotel, I am afraid that there is little we can do, but it is a price to pay for the exclusivity and the quiet our facilities provide. Best wishes.

Amazing!!!

This hotel is nothing short of spectacular! The views are breathtaking! The staff is top notch! Our grand two bedroom suite was spacious and provided everything we needed. The hotel is in the mountains, but no worries, the staff will be there to get you a cab and take you down to the center of the city. If you want to spend the day at the beach, just call the concierge and he will arrange a reservation at a beach club. My only complaint about this hotel is the sinks are way too high for someone as short as myself. But who cares! We are planning on staying here again next time we vacation in PV, which hopefully will be ASAP!!!

My family of four traveled here for a week's stay. It was paradise! The views are amazing and the location for us was perfect. You are close enough to downtown Puerto Vallarta, but away from all the crowds. The staff is fantastic and made us feel welcomed. They had great suggestions and were so friendly! We had a two bedroom suite overlooking the ocean and pool area. Perfect for the kids and it was spacious, clean and well stocked. We also took advantage of the great breakfast buffet which had a wide variety of foods. We will definitely be back!

At first glance this hotel was amazing. But as soon as I got to the hotel there were hidden fees of which I didn’t know. When I booked with travelocity I didn’t see any mention of daily resort fee, that was the first thing they asked me to pay as soon as I walked into the reception area. I also decided to go with this hotel because I noticed a 120 dollar credit to use at the hotel, I ate at the hotel and had one Spa treatment amounting to 103 US dollars, at checkout they told me I had to pay because I didn’t meet the 50 dollar minimum credit on food and certain restaurants on the hotel were not included. I felt very deceived and robbed by the hotel. I tried to reason with management and I could tell he was very uncomfortable with me questioning the way the 120 dollar credit is a scam to get people to spend money at the resort. I emailed a gentleman they told me to email, but I don’t think I would recommend this resort to anyone.
