This hotel has an almost perfect beach front location , but it does not maintain the level of physical comforts as its immediate neighbors . I speak specifically about the loungers...or the lack thereof. They still use the cheap, flimsy and very uncomfortable wood and canvas chair on the beach instead of the full length loungers they have around the pool. This, everyone fights for the pool loungers leaving the late comers stuck in the uncomfortable canvas chairs. Also, while the better rooms are truly wonderful, getting stuck o the roadside in a tiny cubicle with no view is simply not worth the money they charge given the rest of the facilities. One last thing. The staff are generally very nice but the maid threw away my earplugs when I changed rooms instead of keeping them in case I asked for them. It is just standard practice to keep lost items just in case. I needed and wanted them and asked for them within hours of moving to my other room. Also, not all the directions given by the desk staff were correct. I missed a tour because one woman made a clear error telling me where to go. Overall, this place IS good value when they are on their game , but they need to both spruce up and sharpen up

I chose it because it was so convenient to the Los Muertos pier, which it was. Felt safe, the staff was kind and helpful, the room was clean and quite adequate for our needs.

Check in staff is a little dry but if you promise a tip then they will accomodate better. Very lovely property and hotel is always spotless. They really do have a lot of staff cleaning and ensuring place is nice. Balcony rooms are lovely. Never had an issue with them at all.
