Virtually everything was outstanding. We watched 2 great shows, played plenty of fun games, enjoyed the pool and ocean, and of course food and drinks. The only 3 downsides we can think of are the attempted forced attendance to the vacation club presentation, the maid service (we were routinely left with virtually no toilet paper in one of our bathrooms, and a couple of times no towels in one of the bathrooms as well) and the pack of availability for water activities (purple flag almost the whole week, yet surrounding resorts were allowing their guests to use kayaks, boogie boards, etc).

Dear Joe, Thank you for sharing your feedback, as it helps us improve our service. We offer you an apology if you felt as if our Vacation Club team were pushing you to assist to their presentation. Our Vacation Club Manager is already following up with your comments. In regards to the inconvenience with your housekeeping service, we would have loved to know you needed toilet paper and towels, as we would have sent them immediately. We have concierge service available to assist you since 7am until 11pm every day and a Manager on site 24/7. We apologize for any disappointment you may have felt about the denial of water equipment. However, this is for your own safety, we cannot lend any kind of equipment when there is purple flag at the beach, we do this to avoid any accident as our guests` safety is our priority. It was a good time except at check-in. They try to convince you to attend a meeting to purchase a timeshare at their property. I had a reservation for a resort and did not want to be bothered with a timeshare presentation. We told them over and over for about 20 minutes that we were not interested. We just wanted to relax and spend time with the family. When they finally accepted the fact that we weren't going to sit through a presentation they became very unwilling to assist with anything. The service outside of the lobby staff was excellent though. If you use the American dollar, bring several small bills. Tips are appreciated by the staff and they are very attentive if you tip well. I would recommend a different approach by the lobby when guests arrive. Offer the opportunity to attend the breakfast about the timeshare, outlines the free gifts that will be received if you do attend and when someone says no thank you, DROP IT and let them move on with their vacation.

Nice hotel close to the beach. We loved the pool and beach facilities. Nice walk along the beach . We swam almost every day . Drink service on the beach as well was great! drink selection was amazing with top shelf alcohol ! The food was OK . There was a Starbucks on site which we loved! They were really accommodating with my gluten-free diet. Cons: Signage for gluten-free foods was not always accurate in the dessert bar. There was a lot of cross contaminating of serving utensils ie. a staff member took a spoon from the seafood and placed it another dish without washing it. I saw the same between non gluten and gluten items. More care and education should go into the delivery and serving of food as this could have very negative consequences on your guests. The rooms were very musty smelling. It was really unpleasant. They sprayed a lemony lemony scent but it only covered the sent for two hours. Please, please invest in some dehumidifiers!!! I would stay in this hotel again if it didn’t smell that musty! Overall we loved our stay! The service was great and everyone was friendly!

Be Aware

Pros: I enjoyed the suite, but as I said it really needs an elevator!!
Cons: The elevator!!
Location: The location was fine, close to attractions.........
My major complaint was that we had no elevator. We were on the third floor and had 3 kids including a 6 mo. old baby with a stroller. Other than that I thought it was a nice resort if you have children. The kids loved the kids club and the pool with the slides. The staff was friendly and the rooms clean. The food was so so. We loved the Mexican restaurant but it requires a reservation...............The brick oven pizza was always good and the kids liked the ice cream.
