We offer you our independent free standing home with modern European accents, located downtown Puerto Vallarta, close to the well known beach 'Playa Camarones' and the famous 'Malecon', Puerto VallartaÂŽs always busy city beach promenade.
Within minutes of walk you come to shops, the local fish and fruit market, restaurants, bars, beaches, parks. You reach the local sports stadium in 10 minutes walk.

Enjoy the private solar heated pool, the private outdoor Jacuzzi for 6 persons, the large sun decks, partly covered, a tranquil common lounge area in front of the pool and many more amenities our property has to offer for you, shared with nobody else!
Our exquisite home has it all on 3,900 square feet of living space: Panoramic views, a gourmet kitchen, A/C throughout, a remote controlled indoor garage.
Offered to you are unlimited free phone calls inside Mexico and to the USA, Canada, Middle-South America and Europe!
WiFi all over the property with up to 130 MB/s.

Living room: 55" 4K Smart TV, cable TV with some channels in English (f.e. CNN, FoxNews) and streaming services, sound system with BlueTooth.
All bedrooms: 32" flat TV with some English channels

We will ask for a surcharge for more guests than 4, in total up to 10 guests.- This will automatically be calculated when you enter the number of guests.
For more than 6 guests we can install a queen size airbed at one of the bedrooms and/or we can install 2 twin size beds at a common area.
We have a cot for small kids and a kids high chair.

Please note the house is up a small hill which does provide a beautiful view but also means that the street is steep for one small block walking. If you know Puerto Vallarta at all, this is pretty common as the hills are one of the attractions. For those who drive, you have your own fully secure indoor garage for parking.
Also taxis, UBER, inDrive and bus fares are very cheap.

We suggest you purchase trip insurance on your own to cover personal possessions and any complication you man encounter on your trip.

AIR CONDITION. We have minisplit A/Cs for every room.
Electricity is very expansive in Mexico. We have a seperate electric meter only for the A/Cs and we include 30 kWh per day into our daily rental rate, what is good for to use at the bedrooms at night. Please note we will charge you at check out for higher consumtions with 0.25 USD / kWh.

We had a great stay at Villa Europa. The pictures do not quite convey the gorgeous views and the wonderfully multi-level living. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessities, the beds were comfortable, the WIFI very good and the water pressure amazing. But our highest praise goes to Claus who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

We had a really lovely stay! Gorgeous property, attentive host.Claus made us feel welcome, the staff do a very good job cleaning and refreshing linens, Claus even picked up grocery items for us so that we would be set for our first night after an evening arrival.The property is large, with multiple floors. I could see this being a good stay for friends, families, and small groups as well.The hill is very steep, so it can be difficult to navigate with mobility issues. I do use a cane and was able to navigate up and down once so it is not impossible. I recommend Uber vs taxi, as we had multiple taxis struggle to get up the hill, whereas the Ubers did not have as much of an issue.But if you want AMAZING views, right in the heart of Puerto Vallarta, and you arent looking for a basic resort stay- THIS is the place to stay. I feel like I experienced more of PV than on any of my previous trips.5/5 great honeymoon stay

Host was always available and dealt with any issue in a timely manor. The home was located in a great area , close to many restaurants, cafes, fish market and the beach. The house was ideal for 3 couples, well designed, decorated and clean. We had an awesome stay. Thank you Klaus.

El lugar esta muy bien y cumple con la mayoria de cosas que vienen publicadas en el anuncio, aunque tuvimos en nuestra estancia problemas con el aire acondicionado por que se iba la luz, si prendia 3 aires todo bien, pero si se activaba el 4to se iba la luz en mas de media casa, el señor Claus nos atendió ya tarde para poder resolver el tema por que se botaba la pastilla, y dos veces nos quedamos a obscuras nos comento que era tema externo por un tema de CFE, la alberca solo sirve el agua caliente/tibia si ahi sol y como fuimos cuando estuvo nublado y lloviendo el agua estaba completamente fria, estaría bien comentarlo en el anuncio por que en nuestro caso íbamos con 4 niños y tenían la emoción de estar en la alberca aunque el dia estuviera nublado y no fue del todo posible, y por ultimo la conexión del internet no sirvió de mucho en los 4 dias que estuvimos, se que son vacaciones pero si esta dentro de las amenidades es bueno tenerlas en optimas condiciones para el uso, todo el tiempo la atención del señor Claus fue muy buena, todo muy ordenado, muy limpio, el lugar cuenta con asador se pudo utilizar en la terraza y en particular volveríamos sin pensarlo 2 veces, hay minimos detalles pero siento que como todo solo es cuestion de afinarlo, los comentarios los hago de forma constructiva para que pueda haber mejoras por que la realidad es que el señor estuvo muy servicial todo el tiempo y le agradezco inmensamente habernos recibido, esta muy bonita su casa!

The house is on several levels and very spacious with the kitchen/dining area in the middle. The location is close to the beach, good restaurants, street tacos and shops. It’s up on a hill so walking to and from town can be difficult, especially if you have older knees. Being on the hill affords gorgeous views, especially from the terraces. Having a garage was convenient—it holds one car, not two as we thought. Parking on the street was ok. The only challenge was keeping the home cool—it was very hot and the number of watts you are allowed is limited. We had to pay extra even though we only used the AC continuously at night. One of the units malfunctioned but the host attended to it efficiently and on a Sunday!

The house was a perfect fit for our family of four, with teenagers having their own rooms and bathrooms. We loved starting and ending each day in the beautiful blue pool, watching the sunrises and sunsets, the mountains, the ocean, and the city below. The hill up was a great workout which got easier as the week went by. There were lots of great little restaurants nearby, as well as a very short walk to the beach and an easily walkable Malecon and River Cuale area. Claus was a fantastic host and greeted us in person at the start and end of our trip. He was quick to attend to anything we needed help with. We will be recommending this location to our friends. The only thing that kept us from giving all five stars was dealing with some insects and other creatures. Seems pretty typical for the area- definitely not the fault of the homeowner.

A Perfect Honeymoon – Romantic, Relaxing, and Absolutely Unforgettable

We spent two magical weeks at Claus’s stunning 3-bedroom villa in Puerto Vallarta for our honeymoon, and it truly exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into a private paradise. The villa is beautifully perched above the city, offering sweeping views and the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen—every single night felt like a dream.The house itself is immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Each room was comfortable and inviting, with great air conditioning that kept us cool and relaxed throughout our stay. The private pool and hot tub were absolute highlights—we spent our mornings soaking up the sun and our evenings unwinding under the stars with a glass of wine in hand.Claus was a phenomenal host—warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Not only did he ensure everything was perfect during our stay, but he also went above and beyond afterward by helping us recover a bag we accidentally left in an Uber. He coordinated everything quickly and efficiently, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. I felt terrible that it took me longer than it should have to coordinate the return payment for his kindness, but Claus was nothing but gracious throughout the process.This villa gave us the most romantic and peaceful escape we could have

Holiday in Heaven

Our first time outside of Canada in 24 years ... could not have picked a better location The views from the property were spectacular and the property itself gave you options for socializing, relaxing or having quiet times. the pictures online do not give it justice simply amazing.the down side besides having to come home was the hill ..it is steep however Ubers are super inexpensive and the best way to negiotate that hill. Claus was super accomodating and can offer many upscales ie having catering provided and having some groceries delivered prior to our arrival. Highly recommend and we will be back...thanks to Claus for a wonderful experience.

First Trip to Puerto Vallerta

First trip into Mexico. House was as advertized; clean and spacious. Wife and I and (2) 18 year olds each had own room and bathroom. Pool was small but refreshing after a day in the sun. Two balconies allowed wife and daughter to tan. Neighborhood was fantastic with great restaurants and close to fruit and vegetable market. All of Claus' recommendations were spot on. Didn't have a car but walked everywhere and Uber'd to Old Town for a pittance compared to what we are used to. Will definately rent again if we decide to head back this way.

Amazing Views & home

We stayed at Villa Europa for 8 days and our stay there was amazing. This home has about 5 floors, with a pool & hot tub. The views of the city & ocean from the top floor were breathtaking! The neighborhood has delicious restraunts & cute coffee shops just walking distance. Claus was a very nice, welcoming, & attentive host. Thank you so much Claus for being an Amazing host at Villa Europa!

Another great stay

We had an absolutely incredible experience staying at this property. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described—if not better. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made a big difference. Communication was clear and responsive, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We’ve stayed here before and loved it, but this time was even more exceptional. Amazing PV home in Cinco deciembre

Such a great stay in Claus' home!We immediately felt right at home in this spacious 3 bedroom home on the hill. Great views from both terraces! Only 1 hill to climb. And very close to everything. We had family come to visit, and everyone had their own space. Highly recommend!! We are coming back

Wonderful family vacation

We all had super fun stay in Puerto Vallarta, the villa Europa was a beautiful home 5 min walk to the beach with amazing views. The home was fully equipped with everything you would need! The filterd water in the kitchen was great! There was a excellent restaurant across the street with a little market super convenient!! Would recommend your property to family and friends or anyone who would like to stay in a beautiful home in the heart of PV!Thank you hope to make it back again soon!!

Amazing Stay! Thank you Claus!!

We had an amazing week at Claus' villa! The property was stunning, with breathtaking views, a large hot tub, and plenty of space for our group of 8. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect, and the air mattress on the top floor (which we requested) offered good privacy. Claus was an exceptional host—he warmly greeted us, gave a thorough house tour, and was highly responsive throughout our stay.The location was ideal—on a hill with panoramic views, yet just a short walk (under 10 minutes) to the beach. Many great restaurants were nearby, and we often strolled to Zona Romantica for dining and drinks. The villa offered a perfect mix of privacy and convenience, with a spacious garage (unused by us but great for those with cars).The pool was temporarily out of service, but maintenance was addressing it. The hot tub was lovely, though the hot water supply ran low when filling it or after 1-2 showers, so spacing out usage is recommended. The Wi-Fi, while covering all 4 levels, was occasionally inconsistent, so it may not suit heavy internet use.The weather was a highlight—we didn’t need AC. Opening doors during the day for fresh air and closing them at night made the house feel even more spacious and connected to the surroundings.Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend Claus' villa for a spacious, comfortable, and scenic getaway. We’d definitely return—thanks, Claus, for being a wonderful host!

Excellent value with an incredible view! This property is ideal for larger groups or families, offering plenty of space and a beautiful setting. Its proximity to food, shopping, and the vibrant Malecon boardwalk is a major plus, making it convenient for exploring the area.We also appreciated the thoughtful provision of beach towels and toys for kids, which added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay.Cleanliness could be improved. Upon arrival, we noticed that certain items, such as the clothes washing machine, required cleaning, as it was grimy. While the property is pet-friendly, ensuring that pet hair is thoroughly removed between guests would improve the overall experience.Maintenance issues were another challenge during our stay. We encountered several interruptions, including gas tank refills (which required multiple visits to bleed the lines), pool cleaning, a repair to the main water line, and a water supply issue with the dishwasher. Additionally, hot water was intermittent for the first three days. While the host responded quickly and efficiently to each problem, the frequency of these issues was disruptive, particularly for a short 5-night stay. Preemptive maintenance could help prevent similar occurrences for future guests.Pillows need replacing, as they are clumpy and uncomfortable. For light sleepers, earplugs are recommended, due to the nearby roosters, dogs, music, and general neighbourhood noise.

Amazing Spot! Great House, great Location, great Stay!

The house was fantastic. The owner greeted us personally after keeping track of our flight into PV. He explained how everything works, had a thorough folder with a lot of great suggestions, and clear instructions for the rental process. We would 100% choose the house again for any travels to PV where my family lives!

Beautiful house in a great location

My family and I were absolutely impressed by this property that includes a beautiful view over Puerto Vallarta, a swimming pool and even a Jacuzzi. The location is perfect because it is a walking distance from the beach, a fish market and great roof top restaurants. The owner went beyond expectations to make our stay confortable and had great recommendations for doing activities within and outside Puerto Vallarta. We hired a driver to go to San Pancho then Sayulita and it was the highlight of our stay. We highly recommend this property for a stay in Puerto Vallarta and around.

Family Vacation

Overall, our family enjoyed our stay very much! Claus is extremely kind and responsive! I will say, however, that we stayed for six (6) days while running the air conditioning (AC) minimally and still incurred an additional $150 USD expense for AC usage. One AC unit had to be serviced during our stay because it was leaking significantly. The morning of our checkout we had to visit an ATM to be able to pay the extra expense. I encourage anyone interested in staying at this property to inquire about specifics regarding the AC. Thank you, Claus!

We had a wonderful stay in this Villa. A central location, it is easy to walk to beach and most of PV but you also feel like you’re in a true neighborhood. Claus is an excellent host. We will stay again!

We enjoyed our time at Villa Europa. The location is great, with a large market just blocks away, and a fantastic restaurant across the road. The views from both upper and lower decks were wonderful and we enjoyed relaxing and watching the neighborhood activity. Also, most days we saw whales splashing in the bay mid afternoon. Claus is a wonderful host. He drove us to the house for our arrival and made sure we were comfortable. Any issues that arose during our stay were dealt with quickly. And, we appreciated the ride to the airport on our departure day.
