"If you enjoy relaxing on the ocean without crowds or the hustle and bustle of the west side of Cayman, Sand is a wonderful quiet place to vacation. We found the snorkeling to be some of the best on the island, just be prepared to walk over a rocky bottom for about the first 20 feet. Paul and Fay Anne are great hosts and we enjoyed getting to know them."

"Absolutely wonderful week at Crescent Beach! It was truly a dream vacation for my family and friends! Paul and Faye Anne go above and beyond to make your stay perfect, comfortable and they offer a personalized approach. They are wonderful with any questions or requests you may have, and immediately responsive. We could not have asked for a more wonderful place to spend time together; the snorkeling, pool, theatre room, and porches made for perfect day napping - all made our stay a place we will definitely return to again! The home is well-appointed and fully stocked with everything you need. Kitchen is well-equipped, and proximity to locations of interest are excellent. You have stores nearby, but you also have tranquility of nature that surrounds you to unwind and enjoy! Perfect get-a-way, we are already looking forward to our next visit!"

"The management staff was very responsive and helpful. Great house for a group of couples since we all had a king bed and master suite (4 of them available). The deck/pool area was wonderful and used on a daily basis. The house is spacious and very comfortable. A highlight for us was having Chef Thomas Tennent cook dinner for us two nights were were there. Should have done that more (can't recommend that enough). Meals were amazing and Chef Thomas was great! I would note the house is right off the main road, so a bit of road an other noise. Also this is on the east end, so lots of traffic in the mornings and afternoon to get to the 7 mile beach area. On the flip side, we were much closer to things on the east end that most people maybe don't get to. We also got great sunsets! Overall it was a great experience, lovely house and we enjoyed it immensely."

"This was a large and spacious home in the nestled deep in the heart of paradise. The house was clean and had adequate amount of seating for our party of eight. The kitchen was fully stocked and we never ran short of the necessities for cooking or serving our group. The air conditioning was awesome and made the home so comfortable. We would stay there again."

"Casa Tortuga was the perfect home base for our Cayman Christmas vacation!!! As advertised, the home is secluded with a private beach and pool. We loved that there were paddle boards and a kayak available for use. You can snorkel in the sound behind the house. The owners have provided everything you need to cook a meal and feel at home during your stay. Including snorkel gear and extra beach towels. Several reviews refer to the beach area being ‘dirty’ and I would describe this as more of a natural beach feel. If you’re looking for the pristine sand beaches without some grass in the water, you may want to stay elsewhere. We thought it was beautiful and enjoyed how private and quiet this spot was - away from the hustle and bustle. Plenty of room to spread out in the living and kitchen. Would definitely recommend renting a car if you want to go shopping or out to eat. There aren’t many options close to the house. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets views from the gazebo and relaxing in the pool. My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the pillows for all of the bedrooms. They are quite worn and uncomfortable- that’s not really a matter of preference. I read a response from the property management from early 2023 saying the bedding was going to be updated but that had not occurred by the time of our stay for Christmas 2023. If you’re really particular about your bedding - just bring your own."
