Room was the size of a handkerchief. The bed was a thin futon on top of a wood board. The dinner was both the most expensive and the worse in our 2 weeks in Sicily. It is about 30 mns from the town center. DO NOT STAY THERE
Sylvia is a very gracious host, and the place is charming and authentic. The breakfast is better than most, and so is the service. I was given a very small room for paying $200/ night, while another couple had a very large room for $140/ night, but they stayed more days. The place is not by restaurants, and the roads are very small, so driving at night is not relaxing, and eating out is an issue to consider. Otherwise, the whole atmosphere of the stonewalls and scenery is charming, and Ragusa is fairly close.
A very beautiful location and building, renovated with care. The area is wonderful and provides good access to towns and beaches while also a very relaxing and quiet atmosphere, surrounded by dairy farms. The service could use some improvement at the level of accommodation, and also welcome for all guests.
