"This sweet hideaway was exactly what I needed. Close to the places I wanted to visit, yet hidden away under the shady oaks. I loved having coffee on the deck every morning, (in the hot tub!) listening to birds (grackle and house sparrows) and watching the antics of the squirrels. Bonus: a new public library just around the corner! The guest house is comfortable, super clean, and extremely well stocked. My favorite Starbucks coffee for the Keurig, snacks, robes- not a detail was left out. I hope to become a regular guest during my visits to San Antonio. "

"The Exchange was a lovely, nostalgic home environment for my out-of-state guests; perfect location, meeting our needs.My guests did have a few hiccups with the additional bedding options provided. However, the guests suggested some, hopefully, useful feedback which was very openly acknowledged through excellent communication with Ron Henry.All stated that they would definitely stay at The Exchange again in the future!"

"We planned a trip to San Antonio to visit family and friends and decided to try a rental using VRBO. When we arrived at the house we noticed broken blinds through the front window which did not make a great first impression. When we opened the front door I could immediately see the kitchen window had a horizontal crack, when I went up to photograph the damage I seen dried food stuck to the floor in front of the stove, my wife inspected the bathroom and bedrooms and witnessed stained linen along with live and dead bugs on the floor of the bedroom. I also noticed the furnace filter closet was partially open, when I opened it I seen dirt dust and hair around the filter, after inspection of the filter it was dirty and water soaked. This house was damaged and filthy and needs repair before ever being listed again. I immediately asked for a full refund of 803.50 however, I was only given a partial payment of 639.03. I asked both VRBO and the renter for a full refund but am being told by the renter that Is up to VRBO to refund the full amount and by VRBO it’s up to the renter to refund the full payment. Renter beware!"
