Exceptional Hotel with a staff to match

Pros: The rooms were very clean and set up nicely. Loved the sea view, the terrace, the breakfasts and most certainly the staff.
Cons: Since the A/C is centrally controlled, we could not cool it without opening windows that might allow a pigeon in
Location: Close enough to everything (Villa Chimbrone, Duomo, restaurants, shops - especially ceramic, buses to/from Amalfi). Bring your walking shoes.
Anna greeted us warmly and helped us to get settled into the area as well as our room. Each of the rooms on one side have a beautiful sea view. We were on the 1st floor. The outdoor terrace provides even more beautiful views as well as terrific breakfasts and a wonderful young woman assisting you. On clear days, you can see the Amalfi coast in all its beauty. Although the walk into the main part of Ravello can be challenging, we got used to it quickly. There are a number of places to eat including the Locanda adjacent to La Moresca. Ciro (sic) was extremely professional and friendly as was the sommelier. We did have a minor "bump" when the electricity went out as we were about to meet friends for dinner. Our room key was not working after the electricity came back on and Ciro came from the Locanda restaurant to help. Stephanie was called, arrived quickly and promised to stay until everything was fixed - or to let us in if necessary. By the time we returned, everything had been resolved.
