Take the spiral staircase upstairs to cozy into the master bedroom with gorgeous views from all angles! This iconic cabin captures all of the incredible nature that Red River is famous for! You will truly feel at one with nature and completely at home in this fully stocked cabin.

This spectacular cabin is gorgeous inside and out. The front porch has sweeping views of the valley and mountains surrounding. Sit on the porch swing or the Adirondacks and take in the sounds of the Aspen leaves rustling and the river down below.

The Charlie Cabin is outfitted in pine and creates the dreamiest backdrop for your mountain stay. The beautiful sunlight in the mornings beams on either side of the majestic fireplace. Firewood is stocked for your stay to be sure you have a fire going as much as you'd like! Be sure and walk down to the river and enjoy the access to the riverfront.

Make yourself at home in our fully stocked kitchen with everything you'd need to cook your favorite meals. Plenty of counter space and basic kitchen supplies are also supplied: spices, cooking oil, foil, and ziplocks. It is a charming kitchen with beautiful views towards The National Forest! It makes you feel like you're cooking in nature.

Relax by the fire with views towards the valley, and cozy up to stream your favorite shows or movies. Courtesy of the fiber optic internet! An air mattress is provided and allows for kiddos, friends, or family to enjoy the cabin with you!

Next to the kitchen you'll find the half bath. With views towards the forest, its as charming as a bathroom can be! A large stackable washer & dryer unit is there for all of your laundry needs. Laundry supplies will be supplied.

This darling cabin boasts an incredible spiral staircase leading you to the loft master bedroom. A queen size bed with down bedding awaits you with 360 views of the entire property! A sitting area with a leather couch and sheepskin, allow you an area to unwind and relax. The en suite bath has a shower/tub and views out to the forest. Complete privacy and serenity await you at The Charlie Cabin! Stargazing is a must!

Location is perfect for those wanting the serenity of the forest and close proximity to town. The Charlie Cabin is only 6 miles to the heart of town!

The Charlie Cabin was exactly what we were looking for. It was so quiet, secluded and very pet friendly. Our dogs loved sitting on the porch with us watching the birds and chipmunks. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The fireplace is gorgeous and had a fire every night. We love Red River so will definitely be back! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin.

Charming and peaceful mountain cabin! It's tucked at the end of a quiet road in a scenic valley with some neighboring homes but secluded enough to feel restful while being about a 10-minute drive into town. The cabin was clean, organized, and welcoming. A few furniture pieces have been updated/rearranged from the photos at the time of this review, but it was comfortable and coordinated. To conserve space, the spiral staircase to the full bath and bed is tight and narrow. The morning sun fills the space beautifully, while the afternoons are shaded and cool—perfect for relaxing on the porch swing. We were grateful that the property is pet-friendly—our pups loved it. Tons of ground squirrel and hummingbird activity for them to watch. As a heads-up to fellow pet owners: be aware that some neighboring dogs may be off-leash Check-in and check-out instructions were clear, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. Do be aware that depending on the season, the uphill walk from where you park to the cabin might vary a bit, just something to keep in mind when thinking about how you are packing. Highly recommend this quiet spot for anyone looking to recharge without being too far from town.

Fantastic Cabin for Peace & Quiet

This is a fantastic cabin for peace and quiet that lives up to the reviews! I stayed for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed the property and surrounding area.The attention to detail was highly appreciated. This includes arrival snacks, a guide to the cabin’s details, comfortable furniture, and expansive entertainment set-up. The hosts even offer support for celebrations and surprises if that’s your stay’s intent.If I return to Red River I’ll be staying here again.

TIME TO GET AWAY

We had a delay getting into the property. The cleaner had to spend extra time eliminating pet hair since the previous renters were there for an extended stay. We could smell the dog when we first got in and were somewhat upset. The cleaner did apologize and gave us a bottle of wine. It didn't take long with the windows open and a fire going to clear out the smell. The cabin was beautiful and the location at the end of the drive ideal. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon.

Cozy cabin perfect for a couple or small family. Location at the end of the road afforded privacy and quiet. Stream I was within easy walking distance. Internet worked great for our devices, tv not so much. Any future trips and we will book again

Cleaning lady still on property and no check in information

We had a check in time of 4pm. Cleaning lady was still there until 4:15 pm. Did not receive check in information until 3:30pm. Had left property manager 2 voicemails starting at 10:30 that morning letting him know we had no information on the property.

Great stay!

This cute cabin is located in Valley of the Pines tucked back at the end of the road on the side of the mountain. Everything was very clean and the manager was great and checked in every other day to check in to see how things were going. This cabin is a 1 bedroom that is located up a narrow spiral staircase with a full bath up there. For additional people to stay there are air mattresses, so I would recommend a max of 2 adults and probably kids that don't mind air mattresses but 3 adults was a little rough. The staircase being narrow makes it slightly difficult for people with limited mobility to get up to the shower. Otherwise, this cabin was very relaxing and comfortable to stay in. I would definitely recommend this place and might be back next year if I can get the time off.

First time in Northern NM

Coming from a Central Texas resort town, we found Red River to be delightful. The cabin and the host were perfect. Sitting in a beautiful Pine Valley, the view was spectacular and access to the river was perfect. The description of the cabin is extremely accurate.

Quiet Couple of Days

Visited during last week of April/first week of May. Red River was not busy at all and the cabin was a perfect retreat for peace and quiet! Host was receptive to our pets (thank you) and everything was perfect!! Comfortable sleeping arrangements and cabin had everything we needed and more! Thanks again and we'll return as soon as possible!

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy little cabin. It was clean and neat and had everything we could want. We got to Red River a little early so we texted to see if there was any way we could get into the cabin early and Natalie got back to us immediately and told us the cabin was ready. We spent a lot of time outdoors. It was beautiful there.

Great cabin in Red River

This is a great place to stay when your travels take you to the Red River area. It sits close enough to town for skiing shopping and grabbing a bite, but far enough away in the valley to be peaceful and scenic. The cabin has everything you might need and the host makes sure you feel at home. We would stay here again.

Amazing getaway
nature abounds!

My husband and I brought out dogs for a long weekend and were thrilled by this quaint cabin. The ideal location at the end if the neighborhood made it very private and great for our dogs to roam a bit. The views are breathtaking. Everywhere you look, nature is at its finest. It’s very close to town and food, entertainment, skiing, you name it. The responsiveness from Natalie was beyond compare. We are frequent VRBO’ers and this was the best experience to date. It’s clear the owners care about their guests. Highly recommend this little piece of heaven.

Weekend getaway

The Charlie Cabin was all that was described and more! The surroundings were peaceful and serene, providing a backdrop to a much-needed weekend getaway. A short drive into town to enjoy local shopping and restaurants, the cabin was also set up to allow meals "at home". Natalie was a gracious hostess who was quick to respond to questions related to check-in and followed up whenever needed. The neighboring cabin, also owned by the family, is within walking distance and will definitely be considered for larger family reservations. This cabin is a must-stay if you're looking for time away in the mountains of Red River!

Perfect Cabin Escape in the Mountains!

Our state in Red River was fantastic. Natalie was great at communicating with us super quickly. The property was fantastic. It’s tucked at the end of a small road so you back up against the national forest. It was very quiet, but also less than 10 minutes to town to go to restaurants. The cabin was really well equipped and had everything we needed to cook meals at home while we stayed in Red River. Fantastic location, very secluded, but at the same time convenient. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had tons of hot water while we were there. All of the amenities including the streaming services, and the music from Google home were very convenient and added to our stay. We would definitely come back! Thank you!
