The host was very accomodating and even greeted me even though I arrived late. The stay was very relaxing with a great bed that made it hard to wake up in the morning. They thought of everything when it comes to a long term or even short term stay including needs for a pup if you forgot something. The best part for someone traveling with their pup as I was, is that the entire front area is fenced. I greatly appreciated the level accommodations.

Perfect place for my wife and dog to stay on our journey! The host was very nice on welcoming on our arrival. The house was very clean and cozy with a nice big fenced in yard. Loved it! Plan on trying to stay here anytime we are traveling

The cottage it self was adorable. Amy was very nice and helpful. I was disappointed because i booked it because i THOUGHT in one of the pictures it showed a beautiful picture of the lake right behind the backyard, and thought it'd be nice to sit outside and have coffee while looking at that view, but there was no lake, just bushes and weeds. When iblooked back at the pictures i saw that ot was simply a picture OF the lake and it had a caption that said 1 mile from the lake, but i guess that was my fault for not looking closer maybe.Other than that it was a nice little place. Suggestions from me...i think it needs to have a little more privacy in the back yard. Maybe some sort of partition or fence, something for a little privacy.

My stay was great! The area was quiet and the cottage was stocked with anything I could need. The fenced in yard was an amazing perk for my dog to stretch her legs after our drive. The cottage was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The cottage was lovely and very clean, with beautiful decor. We had a very peaceful time, it was just what we needed. We had a fun visit to Shasta Dam, very close, and sat outside on the back patio and watched the stars. Thank you!

This was amazing, I came to visit my bf, so we just stayed in this little home. Amy is so nice, she made sure if we needed anything. The inside is exactly how it looks in the pictures, the neighborhood is quiet. Definitely will come again!!

This is a great place to stay for a little getaway! Amy is a great host and the place was very clean and tidy when I arrived. It’s so close to so many great nature spots along with being close to Redding for any needed supplies. Definitely would rent again if I’m in the area!

The Peaceful Cottage was very comfortable, extremely clean, and well appointed. After driving on the I-5 all day, it was a cool respite in the heat on my journey. I really liked the little yard for my dog. I only stayed one night but it is close to Redding and Shasta lake dam which was pretty to see in the evening. There are a few restaurants in Shasta Lake town but many more options in nearby Redding. Overall, it was a very nice night's stay.

What can I say, Upon arrival we met Amy the host. She’s very friendly and hospitable. This little cottage was more than I expected. She had this well planned out. This cottage has everything needed and more to enjoy your stay. It’s very clean, smells good and the bed was very comfortable along with the nice sheets! Let’s not forget the amazing shower too. We definitely will be back.

Great place to stop with dogs between Bay Area and Oregon

We loved that we were able to stay with our 2 dogs who ran and played around the front yard when we arrived and prior to leaving in the morning Since we have one very anxious rescue dog finding places to stay can be challenging. This place was perfect as it was calm and quiet. Many nice details, extra water, coffee, tea, snacks. Even two dog bowls and a ball for our dogsComfortable bed and great shower. Kitchen had all we needed and pizza near by made for easy dinner

Peaceful cottage

Everything was lovely. Check in was easy, host was gracious, It's a peaceful place to rest after driving on the busy I-5. I would definitely try to stop there again on my next trip in that area. And there's a quiet outdoor patio too!

Great place! The location was perfect, not in town but a short drive to town and a short drive in the other direction to some great outdoors spots. Place had everything I needed, was comfortable and private. I would stay there again!
