This is , by far, one of the BEST places I have ever stayed in Iceland! Cant say enough good things about this hotel! Linda and her staff are just amazing!

This is a frendly, quiet property with a wonderful free continental breakfast from 4-10 each morning. Staff is helpful and the adjoining restaurant has the best food in Keflavik. Area is walkable and close to airport, car rentals, and grocers. No kitchen in our unit but there is electric kettle and small fridge.

Stayed for one night on a layover. Great room and great breakfast available the next day. Be aware that 24/7 shuttle service advertised only applies to getting you to the airport after check out. Approximate cost for a taxi was $28 USD (Oct 2022) to go the few kilometers from airport to hotel.

Very clean, nice room but shower leaked terribly. Lights in room/bath were wired oddly to the light switches. Restaurant nice, a bit pricey but very good food. Nice to have shuttle to airport.

Nice room but shower leaked onto bathroom floor and the lights in room were difficult to figure which switches to use. Nice restaurant. Hotel young lady was nice to shuttle us back to airport.

Hotel Duus is a very quaint hotel in a small fishing village close to the airport. The room was large, the bed was comfy, the staff was friendly, home baked bread for breakfast … it doesn’t get much better than that. The restaurant next door was excellent as well.
