Clean and updated

Recently travelled for a dance competition and was pleasantly suprised at how well updated and clean the room and facility was. 2 day stay was quiet and fun; got to enjoy the picnic area and pool as well.

The only best thing about this hotel was the POOL and it pet friendly! Me and my family book three separate room and even though the bed are big the rooms were small very misleading in the photos. The rooms smell very muggy and musty which I felt like they needed to clean the AC. Every time we left the room and came back it always had a funny smell to the room. The shower head was very old and rusty! Another issue arise which they have three nice patio sets with umbrellas. There was no sign stating we could not open the umbrellas! But me and my family decided to order Dunkin and eat breakfast at the patio set so we can all eat together since the rooms were very small. While we were eating the umbrella broke which it hit my niece in leg and almost hit me in the head and my newborn baby who was in the stroller luckily I caught it in time. Another people who was staying at the hotel had to help us take down the umbrella so it wasn’t dangerous. When we explain to the gentleman who ran the red roof inn he stated this is why I keep the umbrella close no one suppose to open them. My husband was upset that the comment because the gentleman was more concerned about the umbrella than us getting hurt.

We noticed there was cigarette burns on the bed sheets!

We loved our stay. The only negative is that there is no microwave in the room. The rooms have refrigerators but no microwave.
