Covered By Faith Rentals is proud to offer the Storybook home. Storybook home is unique since it is only 2 blocks from St. Mary's hospital and 9 blocks from Mayo Clinic. 2 bedrooms on the main floor and one upstairs. King bed in one main floor bedroom. Each other bedroom has a queen size bed in it. We also have a pack n play and bed side rail to use. The bathroom is also located on the main floor. And there is one full sized couch one person can sleep on in the living room. Over 2,200 square feet for you to enjoy. Relax in a safe neighborhood. There are 3 steps to get into the home, so it is easy access for most. Oak hardwood floors on the main level and fir hardwood floor upstairs. We are only 2 blocks from restaurants, a mall, and a grocery store. If this house is full please check out one of our many additional houses downtown.

A compact single-car garage is next to the house. Please park in the garage/driveway or you will get a parking ticket from the city of Rochester. Only permitted parking is allowed on the streets between 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. All other times you may park on the street. This is due to the closeness of St. Mary's hospital. 2-3 vehicles could park in the driveway besides the one in the garage.

The kitchen is equipped with a full size refrigerator/freezer, oven/range and cooking utensils, Keurig and regular 12 cup coffee makers, small electric appliances, a pot/pan set, baking pans, glassware, cutlery, Corelle dishware, plastic dishware for kids and a high chair, and also some paper plates for you to use due to the lack of a dishwasher. A basic selection of cooking spices and condiments is stocked in anticipation of your arrival.

There is a 'Smart' TV which has several apps to access YOUR personal Netflix, Amazon Prime, or other personal streaming TV accounts. You may watch TV in a heat/massage chair in the living room. There is high speed wireless internet service available throughout the house. There are alarm clocks at each bedside. Please also check out the assortment of DVDs, board games, jigsaw puzzles, toys, and books for your use. There is central air and heating in the house. The bathroom has a full bath with shower. The bedroom upstairs also has a Smart TV. There is high speed internet. Many guests work and attend school while staying with no problems.

In the basement there is a full size washer and dryer for you to use. There is an iron and ironing board available for you use.

No smoking is allowed in the house. Please use the back yard if you need to smoke. Pets are not allowed in the house, due to many people having allergies and medical issues. We have a rental certificate to rent this home legally to you.

Check in states 4pm but most likely you will be able to get in earlier. We will message you through VRBO when the house is ready for you.

We have been serving in the business industry since 2003. We are covered by faith and trust in Him. God has led us to this home to help you with your needs. Covered By Faith is run by a family not a cooperation. We care about you and your stay in Rochester. I was told by a couple of people that the house looks like it came from a storybook thus the home name.

Perfect Location

We stayed at the Storybook House during my visit to the Mayo Clinic. The location was excellent - only 9 blocks from the clinic in a very charming, quiet and safe neighborhood. Jessica was an AMAZING host, quick to respond to communication and very accommodating. Great place to stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay you are close to the Mayo walking is 2 blocks to St Mary’s. Everything you need is there for your use. Jessica is great and responds quickly. She made a stressful time for us easy with a homey environment and a good place to relax each night.

January in Rochester

We returned to Mayo Clinic on short notice in early January, after five days in late December. The minimum stay of three days was very helpful in planning our trip. The property exceeded expectations and the descriptions shown on the VRBO website The home is comfortable, cozy, and convenient. The kitchen is well equipped. Jessica was a great host and communication was prompt and thoughtful. Great property and we would highly recommend!

Restful

The location was great for my heart procedure at St. Mary's, so convenient. the kitchen was also helpful for meals and the house was really comfortable. We're seniors so we did use the rubber bath mat in the tub for showers to be on the safe side. Having the laundry was a plus for us. It was close to a great family restaurant across the street from St. Mary's. Jessica was so kind when we needed a later check out on the day I was released from the hospital. It is a good place to stay for sure.

Close to Mayo/St Mary’s

Perfect accommodations for daily treatments at the Mayo. Nice neighborhood. Cute little house. Bed was super comfortable. Liked the extra’s provided; movies, puzzles, books. Easy check in/out directions. Jessica always got back to me right away if I had a question. Didn’t have any issues though so I didn’t need to contact her once we checked in.

Location, Location, Location

This house definitely suited our needs. In fact the morning of surgery, we walked to the hospital. We also really appreciated having supplies in stock so we didn't have to go out and buy salt and pepper! Very comfortable and homey and the owner is very attentive. If I had any requests, it would be that another bathroom would be nice. That being said, I noticed most of the VRBO homes in the area only have one bathroom - due, I'm sure to the historical location. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to my friends.

Great place to stay for Mayo Clinic & St. Mary's visits

Jessica was great to work with and answered my messages promptly. The house was close to St. Mary’s and Mayo Clinic. We’ve been coming to Mayo for years and this is the first time we didn’t stay in a hotel. It was so much nicer having a kitchen (fully stocked) and space to stretch out, plus just having more privacy. We will definitely use a “Covered by Faith” property again.

Convenient for Mayo visits

The location is very convenient for going to the Mayo's St. Mary's hospital, but bring ear plugs. There are helicopters going over head regularly, so sleeping can be a challenge for light sleepers. I have a fragrance allergy that was a challenge all weekend due to the hand and laundry soap that had been used, so I sent a message to the host to consider changing those to unscented. And due to the age of the house, it was a challenge to reach the TP for someone with back issues. The house is close to many restaurants, HyVee and some other stuff, and the house is very nice for a weekend stay.

Comfortable Place to Stay!

This cozy house was just perfect for my husband and I as we went back and forth to the Mayo Clinic for appointments each day. It is in a nice, convenient location. Jessica was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this property!
