Country Inn and Suites in Freeport is highly recommended. We stayed here many times either with my husband to celebrates our anniversaries and also with friends to celebrates birthdays. The staffs are friendly and welcoming especially the manager Miss Becky. I can’t wait for the next stay.

The whole hallway smelled like mariijauna. Which the smell came into our room. When I called to the desk their response was nothing they could do about it. Whoever responsible would be charged. They didn’t compensate us for anything.

The chlorine smell from the pool knocks you on your feet when you walk in. I was going to use the pool but the smell was over whelming. The hallways are very dim. No complaints about the room itself. There's fast food options around the hotel for food. I didn't partake in the free breakfast.

I visit family once or twice a year in Freeport IL. Country Inn is perfect. In town. Close to restaurants. Free breakfast. The only reason it’s not perfect is 2x the hot tub was broke. Otherwise works well coming from out of town. Happy with their service, friendly people.
