Even though I only stayed one night my experience here was beyond what I expected! Being my first time in Roma and traveling by myself this accommodation was pure luxury. All staff was incredible, friendly, accommodating and efficient! I arrived well before my check in time and was offered free luggage storage, I took them up on it and went out to explore, when I came back to finish my check in I was in the lobby less than 3 minutes and my bags already waiting for me in my room! That evening the bartender stayed open a little longer to allow me and some other guests to hang out and enjoy a brisk evening and he did so with a smile on his face and a welcoming conversation. Next morning while on a rush I asked the desk to please call me a cab to the Roma termini and even tho it was a 10 minute walk I couldn’t afford to loose a single minute, the desk called them without hesitation after the suggestion and I swear it took me longer to get out the door than it did for the taxi to arrive. The bed was comfortable, private and secure room and clean bathrooms, the type of accommodations and standards I have not seen even on Hilton and Omni hotels before! The location is also extremely convenient with major attractions and tour meeting points within walking distance! I regret I don’t remember any of the staffs names but I surely appreciate all of them!

Hotel in great location. Staff were great on arrival (Matteo/Davide/edoardo) and always friendly and accommodating! We were in the main building and very happy with our room. Rooftop jacuzzi was closed during our stay but had daily access to the underground pool/jacuzzi’s/sauna etc. Roof top terrace was lovely, great for breakfast and enjoyed one evening meal there also! Would recommend and would stay again.

Lovely hotel at a good price near Termini and Santa Maria Maggiore. Staff at check-in was kind and helpful. The room a bit small but typical for the location and price. The lower-level swimming pool was wonderful.

For the price, this is a good hotel when visiting Rome. It is in an ideal location and not too far walking to the Repubblica station. It can be a bit noisy, as the sound-proofing isn't the best, and the hotel is on a main street with a lot of traffic. There were a few hiccups, however. Upon arriving, my room door's automatic lock did not seemingly work. I alerted the front desk. It did take about 15 minutes to have someone finally come check the door, reinstall a new battery pack for the lock, only for the staff member to realize the issue was not mechanical; the door required strong force (slamming shut) to engage the automatic lock. Thus, I couldn't effectively settle into my room after flying 12+ hours. I don't blame the hotel for this issue, as it was resolved. But it could have been avoided if they were more familiar with the quirks of that room's door. In addition, on one day the power went out in the hotel for 10 minutes without warning. I had to ask a maid, who then had to call down to the front desk to relay a message that "they were conducting brief maintenance." Otherwise, the front desk was generally helpful. I did not use the hotel's facilities, so I can't comment on those. I did have a great experience booking an airport transfer (be sure to read the rules and book 24-hours in advance). Would I stay here again? Perhaps. There are many hotels in this area, some that are mid- to -upscale. I would be curious how they compare to Hotel 77.

Really enjoyed our stay as a family of four. Room was small but that is to be expected in Europe. More than enough room however to be comfortable. Bathroom was nice, clean and had enough space. Location of the hotel was really good. Walked to most of the historic sites and train station to the Vatican was only 5 minute walk and 10 minutes on the train. Staff were really friendly and helpful whenever I had any questions. Really recommend this

I was a bit apprehensive to visit this hotel after reading some reviews, but I had nothing to worry about. Location - great location right in the centre of everything, all attractions can be easily reached, either by open top bus or walking. 5 minute walk to the hop on hop off bus & metro & 10 minutes walk to main train station. Room - we had a corner suite on the 5th floor, friends had the same room on the 4th floor. Room was spacious & immaculately clean. Bathroom is large with a walk in shower, toilet, bidet & sink. Had coffee & tea making facilities, a wardrobe, safe, fridge, 2 bedside units, large to & plenty of places for clothes. Any requests for extra milk toilet roll, issue with room was dealt with immediately. Spa & pool - this is located in the basement & open till 10pm, you booked a time slot at the desk & again this was immaculately clean & we visited on a Saturday evening enjoyed our visit in there, we all used the pool & jacuzzi area & my husband & friend used the gym, sauna. Breakfast - nice selection for a small city centre hotel, cooked breakfast (bacon, sausage egg) pancakes, cereals, cakes, toast, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt. Plenty of selection. Only issue we found with breakfast was that some hot food was not on a hot plate so could be cold & the toaster was extremely slow. Served on the roof terrace which gave a lovely view. There is also a bar up there in the evening that served drinks & food. We visited this once but found it a little expensive compare
