Same food not replaced for entire stay, no room service other than first day. No communication with any staff or other means. Difficult to locate initially, restaurant staff next door assisted us with location. Xtra fees added upon arrival. No access code to door entrance we had to obtain from another guest. No information where to leave added fees cash payment or what to do with door key upon departure. Virtually no communication with staff in any way until we notified them we vacated. Very disappointed would not recommend.

The wonderful lady in charge of cleaning the rooms and making breakfast was an absolute angel on earth. My mother ended up in the hospital and we had to fly home early and she was so helpful and kind. She went above and beyond at every single opportunity. I wish I had gotten her name. She did not speak English and I did not speak Italian but we made it work and she bent over backwards to make sure we were taken care of.

Perfect for a short city break!

Room and communal area was very clean and tidy. It was also very quiet and there was no noise from any other guests or surrounding area. The communication was excellent from the hotel in terms of check-in process and how to find the hotel. The hotel was in a great, central location - perfect for a short city break!

Residenza sciarra is so centrally located, everything was about 20-30 minute walk away. The room was awesome, clean and all we needed for our first time trip to Rome.

The housekeeper staff lady that was mainly there was so sweet and very helpful even with a language barrier between us. She was always so kind. She made us stay special. I dropped my keys somewhere outside as well and they were very nice and gave me a new one for €10. I would stay here again.

This hotel does not have a receptionist very hard to access your room for the first time.The location was perfect. The bed are very uncomfortable. It needs better mattresses. The lady making the coffee was very nice, but the breakfast was very basic not too many options.

Great location! Walking distance to all the major Rome attractions. Setup was nice for our room for 4 people. Spacious room and bathroom. Unfo. the beds were all a bit uncomfortable (bumpy) - luckily a 1 night stay for us. For the premium cost for 1 night - would have expected a much better breakfast, but no harm - there were some light snacks setup. All communication to hotel through email and text. No live person at the location. Hotel arranged to airport shuttle (but was double the cost of taking taxi).

The hotel is comfortable, central, and clean, albeit small. Me and my family stayed here for two nights. In that time we were able to visit many different landmarks thanks to how close the hotel is to mostly everything. The executive room is small, and it was a little uncomfortable for four people. There usually isn’t any staff present at the hotel, with the exception of the cleaning lady in the morning. Silvia was really nice to us, giving the hotel a warmer touch. I’d recommend this hotel for groups of three or less who are looking for a simple, clean, and well located stay.

This property is in need of serious maintenance. This was the worst stay on our trip by far. Entry door is so warn out the buttons work to let you in less than 50 percent if the time. Holes in walls, black mold throughout bathroom, bed was so old and used I was stuck sleeping in a hole than I could not roll out of. The safe was not bolted in, and as other reviewers commented there is no one on aite afternoons and evenings. The woman that works there is very nice, but the maintenance needed is way beyond surface cleaning. The food was all packaged and stale except for one morning that were were offered boiled eggs. Do not recommend, giant rip off.

Extremely convenient location in Rome’s center

The best part of this residence is its excellent, central location on Via del Corso in Rome’s center. The hotel staff was also extremely responsive via WhatsApp and helped with arrival instructions, getting us a fan because the room was hot, etc. For the price though, it felt quite expensive for a small guest house with limited amenities.

The property is in a very intimate setting. Only a few rooms with a shared common area. The rooms are large with bathroom and cold air conditioning. The staff was wonderful, quite welcoming and very helpful. We felt right at home. The property is centrally located in the city center with plenty of shopping, dining and attractions within close walking distance. We loved our stay here. We would definitely consider staying here again if we travel back to Rome.

Property has amazing location. Can walk to everything and bus stop is across the street. Great eating, shopping and site seeing. Staff was very friendly, nice and helpful. Only feedback to note is that while there is an AC unit in the room, it was hit or miss on if it worked. Nights were a little uncomfortable when it wasn’t working properly.
