Avoid at all cost.

Messaged the host and no reply. Could not get into the property, found other accommodation for the night. Phoned Vrbo next day and got in contact with the host. Went back and finally got into the property. It looked like a building site and dirty. Spider webs with live spiders. Could not connect to internet at all! Wrong password even though we both tried a few times. No washing machine, no instructions for the induction hob, water leaking from the basin in bathroom. A horrible experience! We left next day.

It was absolutely horrible. Very simple hygiene standards were not met, the owner was unavailable by text and call and also the WiFi did not work, which was inconvenient because it is a cellar apartment and there is barely any reception. By far the worst of all were the clearly mouldy walls. A health risk that the very nice though equally unhelpful FeWo-Hotline did not find high enough. My lawyer did advise me that a lawsuit would be a waste of time and money. We were not able to cancel the booking once we had seen it due to the owners "rules". FeWo is not legally liable for cancellation, because the conditions for cancellation depend on the host. The owner did not give us any instructions on how to enter the apartment and were merely able to come in because we discovered the UNLOCKED keybox outside. Once we found the apartment belonging to the found key, we discovered that it was not cleaned since the last guests left. So we called the owner who eventually answered and sent a cleaner. We left the apartment and about 1,5h later when we entered again, the bed was made and the dirty towels were gone. But nothing was vacuumed or even swept and by pushing back the duvet we discovered hairs and stains (looked like blood) on the bed. Also there was nothing done against the clearly visible and disgusting mould. But the host did not answer our further calls, though we had been very polite and friendly despite everything.

A part le prix et le quartier rien n'est positif. Il manquait des draps et des serviettes. Pas de machine à laver. Pas assez se chaises (2 pour 4) et en mauvais état. Moisissure sur tous les murs une salle de bain inutilisable logeur injoiniable

Dès que nous sommes arrivés, nous avons trouvé toute la maison en désordre. Après avoir appelé l'hôte (il n'était plus joignable dans le chat à la suite de la transmission des instructions concernant la récupération des clefs), la famme de ménage est arrivé 45 minutes plus tard. Elle ne parlait qu'italien et espagnol, mais nous avons expliqué que le wifi ne marche pas et le papier de toilette était absent. Elle a appelé l'hôte, mais rien n'est changé pendant les 3 jours qu'on restait là-bas (on a acheté finalement le papier de toilette nous-même). Malgré le ménage, l'appartement était très sale. De plus, un télé ne fonctionnait pas et ne pouvait pas être utilisé ainsi qu'un lavabo dans une salle de bain et un bidet dans une autre. Il faut aussi mentionner que l'appartement se trouve dans le sous-sol ce qui n'est pas indiqué et il n'y a aucune machine à laver. Un seul point positif c'est l'emplacement pas loin du centre ville et facilement accessible par le transport en commun. De plus, Il y a un Carrefour à côté qui travaille 7/24 afin de pouvoir acheter le papier de toilette :)

Bello solo il quartiere

Il soggiorno era previsto dal 25/09 al 29/09, ma purtroppo causa COVID io e il mio ragazzo siamo arrivati il 27/09 contattando l’host e dopo aver confermato la disponibilità dell’appartamento. All’arrivo abbiamo trovato tutta la casa in disordine e poco dopo è arrivata la donna delle pulizie che ci ha comunicato che gli ultimi inquilini erano andati via quel pomeriggio (questo fa sotto intendere che l’appartamento era stato riaffittato a qualcun altro). In aggiunta a questo in un bagno il lavandino perdeva ed era inutilizzabile, nell’altro bagno non si poteva usare il bidet, le finestre praticamente non si potevano aprire dato che l’appartamento si trova al piano -1 del palazzo e sono all’altezza dei piedi delle persone. Inoltre nonostante le pulizie la casa era molto sporca, la televisione in camera da letto non va, non ci è stata fornita la carta igienica, non c’è la lavatrice e non prendeva internet (né i dati né il wi-fi). Ci sono state molte difficoltà di comunicazione con l’host e dopo averlo chiamato quando abbiamo trovato la casa in disordine non è stato più raggiungibile. L’unico lato positivo del nostro soggiorno è il quartiere molto bello, ovvero Certosa.
