I wish I could give this property a 5, but I simply can’t. It has great potential, with its size and location.
The first thing that happened, was that there is only a 3 hour check in window. Because we came after that window, we had to pay 40€ in cash. We had already paid a very large amount to stay. Next, only 1 of the 3 bathrooms was fully functional, and even that one had a leak from the water heater. One bathroom could not get proper hot water and had very low water pressure. Another was missing a shower door.
There were no instructions on how to use the air conditioning units, but once we found the remote controls in a closet (without batteries), we eventually figured it out.
There were old cooking utensils (one pot had burnt stuff at the bottom). There were no pot holders, but lots of metal pans.
There is a washing machine, but no soap.
The first night we were there, our feet turned black from dirt on the floor- that was very strange.
We have given 5 stars in the past to other places, those places provided the extras needed to make it easy to stay (like hand soap).
Lastly, they changed the key to the big door into the complex on the Friday of our stay. Apparently, neither the owner or the management company were aware of this very major change. This meant that we were locked out of the building every time we came back on Saturday and Sunday. We had to wait for someone to come randomly to get back in. I know this should not happen again, but it it effected us a lot!
