The beds were comfy, room quiet and clean. Breakfast was very good. Workout room has plenty of equipment. The only thing I would suggest is to have mini fridge available since food during the day is not an option on the property. Otherwise completely delightful.

Wonderful over night stay.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Lots of trails to walk around on the property and they are working hard to completely restore this place. Rooms were comfortable and a really cool mix of past meets present. Would have loved to stay a few more days just to enjoy the grounds more. Breakfast and dinner were awesome!

A royal stay

Stunning location- lovely rooms, fabulous dinner. At check in a somewhat (and unfortunately all too common in Sweden) prickly service but the dining staff were impeccably, the checkout receptionist courteous. Breakfast is not to skip. Overall, I recommend highly.

Perfect place for relaxing

Perfect place for relaxing! The park is large, lots of walking/jogging possibilities and places for picnic. Breakfast was good, quite ordinary. Dinner menu is short, so 3 dinners is a max if you dont want to eat the same twice. Beds were comfortable (I like soft beds) Our dog was warmly welcomed đŸŸ At least our room was quite small but we didn't mind as we spent most of our time outside enjoying beutiful sunny summer days. I hope we have a possibility to travel here again as this place is full of peace, beauty and the pages of history.

This was a very elegant property, beautiful buildings rooms, excellent breakfast delicious dinner cooked by an accomplished chef. If you have a heavy suitcase, the parking lot is about 100 yards from the entrance and it’s a little difficult going uphill in gravel. The grounds are beautiful to walk around and they have luxurious rooms to sit in and have coffee after dinner downstairs. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful as is the Cook. I definitely recommend this place and plan on returning in future visit visits to Sweden.

A great experience

We had a wonderful visit to Rosersbergs Slottshotell. Having lived half my life in Sweden, I had never heard of this "castle", and we were very pleased with the experience. The room was very cozy and clean. The "chocolate" tray I preordered was amazing along with the sparkling wine. The staff were all very friendly and warm. The restaurant offered exquisite food and charm.

We felt like royalty, our experience was so amazing. The staff are so friendly, conscientious, and thoughtful. Ingela checked us in and was so hospitable and kind. She made our stay so delightful, we booked another night. The grounds are simply beautiful and serene. We had the most amazing dinner experiences with Chef Daniel who came to our table each night and visited with us. His food is simply amazing! The rooms to relax and have tea/coffee/snacks are made for relaxing and are so inviting. Absolutely one of our most favorite places we have ever stayed.

The property was a little bit of a let down. We were expecting for bigger rooms and more of a royal feel. However, the room we booked was away from the main reception. The roads were not paved. Dragging baggage was a pain. The breakfast was mediocre. The castle should really look into renovating. Stay here only if you are interested in looking at art and experiencing a sort of ancient feel rather than convenience and modern amenities.

Above and beyond what's expected.

The room was clean and comfortable albeit a little small. The staff where amazing. I arrived late in the afternoon and was told they could fit me in the restaurant last minute. As I got to my room the front of house arrived a few minutes behind me and told me there was an issue and I couldn't be seated for another 1.5-2 hours. They were apologetic and offered me a hot sandwich and salad in the bar. I took them up on the sandwich and it was great!- Went above and beyond in my opinion. I would 100% stay again.

I want to be fair and precise in this review. I was aware in advance that the room was located in a separate building about 150 meters from the main castle, so the distance itself was not the issue. The problem was the condition and environment of that building, which did not match the quality, comfort, or overall experience presented on Hotels.com or implied by the price and 4-star rating. The surrounding area were dark, very quiet, and appeared largely empty. The room felt worn and significantly below the expected standard. Upon arrival, the reception also informed us that there might be very few or no people remaining on the property during the evening, and that we should contact security guards if assistance was needed. This did not feel appropriate or reassuring for a hotel at this level. Because of these factors, we chose to leave the hotel the same evening and book alternative accommodation. The replacement hotel was considerably cheaper yet offered a clearly higher standard in terms of comfort, condition, and overall experience, which further highlights the mismatch between price and delivered value. To be fair, Rosersbergs Slottshotell did refund half of the booking amount as a goodwill gesture, which I acknowledge. However, the explanation given was that a full refund was not possible due to fees and commissions related to Hotels.com. As a guest, it is unreasonable to be placed between the hotel and the booking platform when the issue concerns the

Very disappointing, I booked in January and for a meal in the restaurant and was moved out and put on a table with no thought it was like sitting in a corridor to the point that I had to ask to eat in my room, completely spoilt the whole experience. The room was ok but smaller than it looks in the photos . Be aware that you have to walk up the drive which is shingles so your suitcase will not run on wheels. No assistance is offered when you then have to take your luggage over to another building when you have booked main building. Some of the staff were nice others made me feel like i was an inconvenience. The surrounding areas gardens and lake are beautiful with nice walks.

Misleading photos, Manor but stay like IBIS

I stay on a small room outside of the Manor, in a kind of IBIS room where 90% of the room are tour operator show mainly the castle and are misleading you come to a Manor for reception but stay in a poor Ibis certainly convenient and nice for a wedding or convention/conference

Belle expérience !

TrÚs belle expérience que ce séjour dans ce chùteau royal. hotel bien équipé avec belle salle de gym et sauna. Ma chambre était un peu petite, mais confortable avec une excellente literie. Personnel super sympa. Resto plutÎt cher, mais pas d'autres choix à la ronde ! Apportez vos baskets ! les alentours du chùteau sont superbes et propice à la balade !
