Showed signs of ware and tare. Seats in kitchen ripped as was the stool in bedroom. Only one bedside light was working. Chipped mugs in kitchen.Shared bathroom wouldnât be a problem apart frm the fact that I had to navigate steep stairs to get to it. Not ideal. Had to go outside to access room. Niggly things but room overpriced.
Me and my girlfriend wanted a weekend away close by and chose Ruthin. We saw the Feathers which was very close to the centre. We booked two nights. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and shown our room and the amenities. It was only then I realized I'd booked a room with a shared bathroom. This was no problem, we were very quickly moved to an en-suite. Both rooms, en-suite and standard, were very clean, tidy, modern and comfortable. The en-suite was quite big really, the beds were very comfortable and we both slept very well.
I would totally recommend a stay at the feathers. There was no breakfast but literally across the road there is a traditional cafe.
I stayed there for a cycle event with a friend and found the staff extremely friendly and helpful
The room was clean and modern
We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and the room we stayed in was directly above the disco but that ended about 2230 so there was no issue with the late night party goers đ
I would definitely recommend this place and I will revisit
The carpet hadnt been hoovered and no breakfast included and a lot of money for what you get its really a room for around ÂŁ40 not ÂŁ97
I could also feel the springs in the mattress
