Even though it doesn't yet resemble a forest (it will reach full maturity in 10 years), these 8,000 m² already produce an abundance of vegetables, fruits, edible flowers, mushrooms, and honey. The semi-underground bioclimatic greenhouse, attached to the processing workshop and shop, was designed for maximum self-sufficiency (solar panels and a rainwater harvesting system). Your host :
The granddaughter of farmers, on both her mother's and father's sides, Charlotte spent her childhood in the countryside. She obtained a DEA in Ecology/Territorial Planning at Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse then a DESS in computer science applied to experimental sciences. She then worked in Paris, in an IT company for 20 years, then followed training at the Bec Hellouin farm to launch her project in April 2019. On an area of 4 hectares, she operates two organic orchards planted in apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees, plum trees, and is experimenting with a forest-garden over an area of 8,000 m2. Its objective is to design and create forest-gardens and ecosystems for all audiences and to permanently share the results of its experiments in local contexts, sharing of knowledge, productions, etc.
